Does anybody know the exact date when Cialis patent will expire?

From what I have found, the patent expires on November 21, 2017. However, to the best of my knowledge, no generic Tadalafil has yet to be approved by the FDA.

I'm just curious, but wasn't the patent for Viagra supposed to expire several years ago?
I think I heard that some politicians got paid off to keep it longer.
I'm probably wrong on that, but couldn't find the answer.

The Cialis patent is due to expire in the UK in Nov 2917. The Viagra patent has already expired In UK and Sildenafil Citrate (the drug in Viagra) is readily available but remains a prescription drug. However, it can be obtained legally online from legitimate pharmacies following an online doctor consultation. The cost for 4 tablets of 100mg is around £10..
Many people source it unapproved from India for less than £1 per pill.

Pfizer said Tuesday that Teva will pay an undisclosed royalty for a license to produce a generic version of Viagra, one of New York-based Pfizer's best-selling drugs. Viagra generated about $1.14 billion in U.S. sales last year and more than $2 billion worldwide.
Pfizer's patent protecting Viagra from generic competition expires in April 2020, but Teva Pharmaceuticals USA Inc. will be allowed to launch its generic version in the United States on Dec. 11, 2017. Teva Pharmaceuticals USA is a division of Israeli-based Teva Industries Ltd.

Do the Canadian Cialis meds work effectively? I can't afford the 5mg daily any more, and my ED has gotten much worse without it. I am type 2 relatively controlled. I am less sensitive since ceasing the daily use of Cialis and hope my ED improves resuming use of it. You really can split a pill 4 ways. Just hope they arrive and they actually work. I think it all going generic soon.
