does having nightly erections rule out a venous leak?

32 year old, watched a lot of porn, currently " rebooting "

had a doppler test using 40mcg of caverject, no venous leak, good bloodflow, i think it was 48cm/s or somthing... great

however, I need 40mcg of caverject for it to work, why so much?

I'm thinking an innacurate diagnosis.. but i do get nightly erections every night upon waking, so does that rule out a venous leak?

Dear Friend,
I'm just as confused. I get rock hard nightly erections too, but can't get erection from women or even masturbating. I can get myself hard enough with 40mg Levitra enough to penetrate but it's a struggle. I tiny doze of Trimix gets me hard for hours so I just go with that.

apparently terazosin ( alpha blocker ) may help, as when we are awake our bodies stress takes over and releases a chemical ( noinpehrine? )

Common sense would tell me it rules out venous leak. That's why there is a nocturnal test that detects
erections while sleeping to rule out *organic* (leaks..etc) causes of ED. Injections (like you had) are also used
to *challenge* your ability to attain an erection..ruling out leaks.
