New Script for Daily Cialis

Hope some of you daily Cialis guys can help me here. I've tried doing a search, but I either get no hits or so many I can't find what I'm looking for in the topics.
Anyway, my cardio has agreed to take me off the isosorbide and has written an initial 30-day prescription for daily Cialis. I know there are two versions: this one and the 36-hour. I'm not sure why he prescribed this one, but my ED is not severe so maybe he thinks this approach is more appropriate. I actually see my Uro next week, but I have two questions meanwhile:
Has anyone used this vs. Viagra? If so, are the results comparable?
Since I really don't anticipate "needing" this every day, can I take it only on those days when I anticipate sexual activity or is this a "take it everyday regardless" med?
Thanks in advance for any help. And, please, if anyone has any other comments/advice, please chime in.

Hey Prof:
My experience with the 3 pills is limited, but here goes. My daily Cialis prescription was for 5 mg daily. That's a lower dose than the "PRN" or "as needed" scrip. Apparently, CIALIS can have a cumulative effect: hence the lower daily dosage. I can tell you that my experience with the 5 mg Cialis was better than my results with "as needed" Cialis and with the other two oral meds. Mind you, know, that "better" in my case did not mean fabulous; just better. Still not acceptable, but better than the other pills/dosages. I've been using trimix injections since last November and have been VERY happy from the beginning. I have even found that there seems to be a rehab effect from the shots. I now get random tingles and spontaneous erections even on non-erection days. That's a huge improvement for me. If the pills ultimately don't work for you, ask the uro about injections. Feel free to ask me (or anyone) any specific questions you might have.

I am also taking daily Cialis (10 mg) which helps on non Trimix days. The Uro originally prescribed the Cialis prior to prescribing the Trimx (Last June). After two months of successful trimix use, I asked the Uro if I should still be taking the daily Cialis to help on non Trimix days. He advised that the Cialis has a cumulative effect so I should stop using it, but if that is what works, I could continue to use it, but I need to be careful so that I don't use too much Trimix.
My last Trimix injection was on Sunday; however, this morning (I am retired) I took my daily Cialis along with a supplement consisting primarily of eurycoma longifolia and two hours later, I developed a nice erection capable of penetration. Probably a result of the combined result of the Cialis and the rehab effect of the Trimix. Normally, I need to add constriction on non Trimix days.
Prior to starting the Cialis treatment, I had been using Viagra for over ten years and usually had satisfactory results on an as needed basis. For a period, I tried Cialis on an as needed basis with disappointing results. Over the years, however, my ED worsened and I had to increase my Viagra dosage from 25 mg to 100 mg. Starting about three years ago, I had to add constriction to the Viagra in order to maintain my erections, which is the reason I switched to Trimix injections.
Since you only have moderate ED, I believe you need to choose between a low dose daily Cialis which needs to be taken daily regardless or an as needed pill, either Viagra or a higher dose of Cialis. Individuals react differently to the two ED pills so you may want to test one for a month and switch to the other for the next month to see which works best for you. Viagra worked best for me.
If cost is an issue, send me a pm and I can offer some websites offering generic ED pills (some under $1 a pill)

When I used Cialis, I got far fewer of the side effects (headache, stuffy or runny nose) than Viagra. Plus Viagra was often hit or miss and very time specific for how long it would last.
As others have noted, the lower dosage builds up in your system after a few days. While you are taking it daily, you don't have to pre-plan sex like you do with the 36 hour pill. It's already in your system, so when the moment strikes, you're already good to go, so to speak.
Take a look at their website
http://voucher.cialis.com/index.cfm They offer a free 30 day supply on the lower dosages or 3 free pills on the higher dosage ones (your prescription needs to match which pills you pick the gift certificate for).
Alas, I think you can only redeem it once a year, so unless your insurance pays for the pills, you may want to shop around after that initial freebie.
