I am really new to the knowledge of injections i have ha ed about 15 years so i found this site?i made an apointment here in phoenix with a doctor they asked a few questions then said one hour consulation 300 dollars i am thinking this is going to cost . i hear guys getting meds on line am i doing this right or am i making rookie mistakes the nurse said it would be 6 appointments at 300 each and advice?

Yikes! If this is a urologist, he's far different than mine. My insurance covered most everything except for copays but there were only two appointments needed.

This sounds like one of the "men's clinics," such as Boston Medical Group. If it is, I'd advise you to beware - find a real urologist and get a proper evaluation.

Yep, this is a men's clinic all the way. Stay away from those guys. I'm not affiliated with this site in any way, but you can get some basic medical advice -- from licensed medical professionals -- at justanswer.com. I've gotten answers there from a urologist and paid just a few bucks. Obviously it's just general advice, but at least you're communicating with a real doctor.

Once you get some basic answers you should consider booking an appointment with a urologist in your town. You shouldn't need more than a couple office visits to get going with Trimix. For sure you'll spend a lot less than at those men's clinics.

I agree to stay away from the men's clinics. I go to Dr Desiderio Avila who has offices in Scottsdale and in Phoenix near Chandler Blvd and 48th St. He usually prescribes 10 refills each time I see him. That's how I found out about the Tri-mix in dry form.
If you see him, mention Tom Hudson.

I have always made it a practice to consult my Internist/General Practitioner/Primary Care Physician on EVERY symptom or aliment I have. Depending on the situation, sometimes he deals with it right there in the office and other times he sends me to a specialist. When I flunked my first stress test (treadmill), he "promoted" me to cardiology. Likewise, when he and I discussed my ED--and we discussed it at length--he prescribed the normal pills, each one in sequence, and them "promoted" me to urology.

I am also a firm believer in making sure every doc who treats me for one thing or another is in the loop on all my diagnoses and all my meds. Fortunately, every doc I see is in the same clinic except urology, cardiology, and ophthalmology, so it's relatively easy, but even the "outsiders" send test results, etc. to the clinic so medical records are all in sync.

Since you're dealing with your favorite body part, you might want to consider doing the same thing. Never forget that ED is a symptom. It is caused by something else gone amok. Identifying that root cause can be very helpful in developing a treatment plan and in managing or projecting expectations.

Certainly doesn't help to have all of your medical team in the look but generally, a general practitioner isn't going to communicate in any meaningful way with your urologist.
