Since I've had ED all my life due to venous leak, I don't know how the glans behaves during a normal erection. Usually when I masturbate I get glans enorgement, but it goes away really fast as soon as I am done. If I am aroused but do not masturbate, I get slight glans engorgement. So it feels like I have to fight to keep blood in my glans.

I was wondering if people who havent had ED all their lives could tell me

a) If they got full glans engorgement upon arousal ?
b) Or did they have to stimulate themselves for full gans engorgement ?
c) Did it ever feel like you had to fight to keep blood in the glans, when you had normal erectile functioning ? Or did your glans engorge and stay that way once you achieved full erection ?

Before my injury my glans had zero problem engorging and staying engorged. In fact I would say erections started with the glans, it led by example haha, it was the embarassing tent pole part that you couldn't control. Now I have to kegel or be in gravity positive positions to keep blood in there.

I inflate every night when I get in bed. All I have to do to get full glans engorgement is lay there and think about what I'd like to do with this glorious hardon. It was embarrassing at my first post op appointment when a female nurse inflated me and I had a wilted, flat mushroom glans. I wanted to say "help me out a little bit here and the head of my dick will swell up nicely". Still though, this pretty Asian woman kept saying "this looks very nice".

Before my radical prostatectomy my glans worked just fine, requiring no thought whatsoever. After surgery nothing works without injections. With injections the glans works without further thought.

Before my prostatectomy in 2000 my glans had no problem swelling up; usually it was the first part to react to being aroused. In gets engorged some when I am aroused fully clothed for example, but not like in the past (aka when I was younger, too). Now it is engorged by itself in the morning when I wake up (I call it my "morning wood-ette"), and it is engorged when I am inflated and become aroused.

I wake up at night to pee 2-5 times. Every time my glans are swollen and after I pee it will deflate. Don't know if that is the info you are looking for but it seems that is the only part I have left that still works.
