What was your Testosterone tested at? Mine was 277 in an afternoon reading. The doc is making me use clomid
26 years old. USA. ED problem since teenage years. Doctor prescribed ED meds showing some efficacy but not a guarantee. As much as I’d like the implant I now think I should hold off if I’m seeing some results from pills

I do, 2.5cc Delatestryl in the ass every 3 weeks. My libido came back like I was 20 again. Love it. I look forward to each and every injection.

Re: Is anyone here injecting testosterone?
I've been injecting myself deep into my thigh every week for a few years now.
The most effective testo therapy I ever had was about a 3 inch square of gauze like material you heated with a hair dryer and applied to the ball sack. It completely conformed to the curves and wrinkles. I think it was called TestoDerm. It literally turned me into a horny teenager who wanted sex all the time and was the most effective at overcoming my ED of anything up to then. Sadly, one day my doctor told me it was taken off the market because of guys ending up with testo levels that became dangerously high. I then tried the sticky gel to rub on my belly but the horniness evaporated. We switched to injections and my libido returned somewhat but nowhere near the level of the ballsack patches. I was told by a urologist that T therapy only helps around 5% of guys with ED anyway.
The benefits of continuing with the therapy after being implanted mainly amount to keeping my energy levels up. I've tried a few times stopping it but by week 3 I can no longer tolerate the lethargy. Also, I was working out 4 times a week for over two years and in my 60's the T therapy provided very noticeable benefits. I'd highly recommend working out if you use T therapy, you might as well cash in on the available benfits.

I was reading somewhere that low T levels have a huge health issue in some men. Cardiac and other organ problems as well as libido. I injected the Delatestryl in my thigh and it burned the rest of the day and then caused a lot of pain for the rest of the week. My family doctor said, oh yeah, I forgot to tell you, it's better to inject into the fat and muscle of your backside. Oh sure, now he tells me. Anyway, I like the way it affected my libido. My T levels rose gradually and I am now as horney as a twenty year old but, I am not worried about levels that are too high.

I've been injecting for years. Once a week in the butt (or thigh). Cost is great; just $60 for a 6 month supply. I buy the needles and syringes online.

Re: Is anyone here injecting testosterone?
I have also been injecting for years. I use a prescription compound called testosterone cypionate — .625 ml once every two weeks in the thigh. The syringe is 22 gauge x 1.5 inches. My cost is around $55 for a 10 ml vial, which provides 14 injections (28 weeks).
I do quarterly blood tests for cholesterol and my doc also gets a T reading at the same time. He has periodically adjusted my dose to keep me in the mid-range of normal.
I started this as part of an effort to address an ED problem, not a libido problem. (Was on Cialis at the time.) The ED was not helped, but I could tell that there was a boost in my already-okay libido.
I was in my 60s when I started the T injections. I got a pronounced improvement in muscle definition, particularly in my biceps and chest. (That's faded now that I'm 77, but it was nice while it lasted.)
In case your doc hasn't mentioned . . . it's been my experience that the T injections shrink your testicles. That's also been mentioned by other posters here on FT. My understanding is that the "work" of producing T keeps the testicles enlarged. When the injections take over that function, the testicles shrink. Perhaps some other FT brother has a better explanation.

Been injecting for several years now too. Tried the under the arm stuff...too much alcohol. ..I am fair skinned...burned the crap out of my pits...tried androgen..not strong enough. I take .50 c weekly every Thursday afternoon. Easy as pie. In the beginning when I was diagnosed..my level was not eve. 3 digits. .it was 66ng..Now on last day before next injection I am at 320...which means after my shot it will go back up and over the week gradually fall back...but never too low. As for the size of my two boys. .well lets just say they went from man size to preschooler size. I need a ball sack lift cause I got this saggy empty ball bag that flaps betwee my legs now...but I will take it no matter what cause once they got my levels up....everything else comes up easier now too. Dr says I will be on it for life. IAm chked every 6 months for my levels and my PSA. ..all is great so far

Re: Is anyone here injecting testosterone?
I have a hard time injecting myself. My wife says she does not have the strength to do it. I have tried the patches and gel were ok, but my wife is an ovarian cancer survivor and she can't be exposed to the hormones.
Is there any oral med to take for it? I have not found any, other than unproven supplements.
The injections worked well while I did them and yes my testes did shrink. I haven't been on it for about 2 years, so they are back to normal now.
The T did make me hornier the hell. But at the time with my wife's condition, I had not much use for the mood.
