I had an average size prior to ED, but years of ED caused atrophy (shrinking). When I was using a VED, I'd pump to the point of uncomfortable put the ring on thinking I'm giving my wife a treat. Doing this made me a little bigger than I used to be, my skin back then had more elasticity. Contrary to my thinking (the bigger the better) she said it was uncomfortable at times. For most of us on FT we have either had Prostate cancer & removal, or a long battle with diabetes, blood pressure issues etc. These very slowly effect blood vessels and nerves which effect blood flow.
If I could have "finished" with just 1 pumping, I probably would have continued with the VED. If I didn't pump myself to much, my wife would have been fine with it. I have to say I love the feel of almost having a natural erection that the VED gave me. But I'd have to continually repump, and with the nerve damage along with the time it took for me to redo the ring etc. I couldn't have the happy ending a lot of the time. VegasED

My wife would help me pump it up, then I would slip on a ring and we'd go to town. The pump restored my length and actually increased my girth, and we were happy with that. The only thing she disliked was the coolness of my cock, caused by the lack of blood circulation.

I used a VED before switching to injections. My wife liked the VED because of the firmness it gave my penis, especially when I pumped to my max. But we had issues with the 'hinge effect' that we didn't like. I tried injections and have never looked back, and use it as my primary erection aid now. I do, however, use the VED for my penis conditioning and sometimes after in injection to give me a little more fullness.

I'm sure every situation is different, but I have been injecting for about 15 years now with no adverse effects.

I am curious to know how that works. You inject first then get erect then "top off" with pump or pump to full
erection? No restriction rings are used? Hinge effect is not an issue?
