Hello all. I’m new to FT and VED. Had a RP 2013. Dr. Symbas in Marietta,Ga. was my Urology surgeon. Recovery went well. Was contemplating an implant, but now that I’ve been using the pump, not so sure now. Used the PDE5’s. Moved on to tri-mix w some success. Read that injections could cause scarring.
So in conference w my Dr. I ordered a VED and spoke of a future IPP. He agreed that I had done my due diligence and was a good candidate.
Well to my surprise this VED and my consistency has really opened a new door. I use it daily for a 5-5 minute sessions. My SO and I have had sex twice and we’re totally satisfied. WHO KNEW!?
Anyway my thoughts of an implant are now fading a bit.
We’re an older couple, so once a week is ok w us. An occasional self induced orgasm for me will work just fine.
Weighing the outcomes between an IPP and the VED w my original OEM are difficult to justify at this time.
Thanks to the FT community for all the support and advice.

i agree with JonG2020 about the implants , once you get it done there is no turning back , it may be the only thing for some people , but if your at the crossroads , do your homework .
Tom , born in 54, Washington state,Prostate Cancer, age:61 PSA 9.5 Gleason 7,3+4. RP surgery 2015 (robotic ,nerve sparing). After surgery used VED with meds for ReHab and injections later(Trimix).Still use VED every other day ,for exercise,5mg Cialis daily

If a ved is working for you then you are truly a rare one. After months of trying I never could get an erection hard enough to penetrate and that ring hurt like hell... even the loosest one I could use.
Fifty-one years old. ED started at age forty. I took Cialis for eight years and used Trimix for almost three. Implanted 12/6/22 by Dr. Jonathan Clavell. AMS 700CX 21cm.

Do you slide the ring off the end of the cylinder or do you slide it down your shaft after pumping ping up?
I have been pumping for ten years so perhaps you need to build up tolerance to the tight rings.
