Bad news from insurance company

Got a call from the pump company, giving me some bad news. It seems my insurance does not want to pay for even half the cost of the pump. THe sales guy says after my deductable, I have to come out of pocket for $288.00!

I told the guy to forget it. I was not shelling out that kind of coin on something I don't even know will work. The unit was called a Pos-T-Vac.

Are there other more affordable options?

Are you hoping to use this for intercourse? Or was this for therapy? Over the Counter prices for these pumps are usually under $200 if you want tot use them for obtaining an erection for intercourse. If you want it for therapy, a sex shop model will do just fine.

Of course, if the pump would help with intercourse, I would be thrilled...

The Encore Impo on the linked site for $95 seems fine to me.. Looks similar to what I am using. If you add an Osbon tension band, you should be ready to put a smile on her face,

There are always a number of Osbon pumps on e-bay at reasonable prices. Many new in box. As others have said the rings are most important and Osbon are the best. You need an assortment of sizes to try. My Osbon was purchased in 1997 still works fine. Only have had to purchase a few new rings. I use 2 rings.

The most important thing is you understand how to use the pump. It does take some practice and trial and error.

Update on pump sales pitch.

AS someone told me...after I turned down the pump, because of the price, they would come back with another offer.

Yesterday I was contacted by the pump sales company. They wanted to know if I was still interested in getting a pump. I told the guy "not at that price." He then told me that I had not met the deductable by $147.00 I told him that if all I had to do was pay that $147.00...I would be interested.

He seemed really anxious to make the sale and said he would put that offer in to the supplier and maybe we could make a deal. I explained I did not want a lesser grade pump than the one shown to me. He assured me it would be the same unit (Post-T-Vac)

Their first price was $288.00. After insurance. Are these companies preying on desperate men? I think...maybe.
