Can pumping help me get back my size?

Postby Archetype » Sun Jan 05, 2025 6:08 pm

Hello all,

My size before losing my prostate was a bit over 5inch or 6 inches if I pressed the ruler through the pubic fat and to the bone. Mind you am 35-40 pounds overweight so there is some good fat there.

After surgery and since they couldn't preserve any nerves I lost all erections. I tried Invicorp injections and I was able to achieve only a 8cm/3.1inch erection (without pressing the ruler down to the pubic bone) which shocked me. I couldn't believe how much size I lost. I am panicking at this point.

I am at the level where micro-penis starts BUT when I stretch my penis with my hand I comfortably pass 8cm and I max out at around 10/10.5cm without feeling any pain so I guess this is a better indicator of my current size?

I want to regain back the inch that I lost or most of it. The visual difference is significant. I have thought of pumping the recommended (here in UK at least) 10mins a day for 2-3 months just to see if this can help the tissue expand closer to what I used to have.

My andrologist, and Dr. Eid apparently, do not believe that pumping does anything to you. My andrologist said that other than the size that you lose at the beginning he doesn't buy at all the theory of atrophy and that you will keep losing size unless you pump. He says there is little evidence to back this up and therefore he does not recommend pumping.

At the same time I see many guys who claim that they have gained back their size however their accounts often times sound suspect and lack important details.

How many guys here, who lost their prostate, all nerves (this is an important point) and thus became fully impotent were able to get back some size with pumping? If you are in this category are you absolutely sure that you gained back size? how are you measuring yourself? when are you measuring yourself? Measuring right after pumping may not be a good indicator of actual size.

I am desperate for some solution. If pumping fails am seriously considering RestoreX which is backed by a clinical study so it "should" help.

Yes, it can help. However, your results may vary.

Pumping can also help keep the blood flow, especially if you lack natural erections.
I regained most of my size loss from Peyronies. I lost well over an inch in length and girth.
I pumped for 15-20 minutes, twice daily for eight months. I stopped when my wife complained about my size.

I would warn however that when pumping the size of your pumped penis in the tube is about a size larger than what you can achieve with a natural erection.
Here's what I mean by a size larger. Let's say your natural erection is 5.1 inches. (national average)
When you are pumping in the tube, likely your penis will stretch to 5.6 to 5.75 inches. But when you go to have an erection it will only measure 5.1 inches.
Struggled with ED/PE for years.
Started using Trimix in May 2022 with very good results.

Hi Archetype,
Yep, me too, fully impotent but from losing prostate and bladder to cancer. It’s been 7 years injecting and VED and no sign of that lost length…… all temporary. I don’t plan to try any of the traction devices but if they work for you please let me know.
2017: Bladder cancer, RC with IC. No erections. Use Ring, VED, Trimix.

You haven't been able to get back any size from pumping have you?

Your reply is not relevant to what am asking though, with respect.

I lost my size due to prostatectomy, that left no nerves behind, not due to peyronies and thus I am looking to see if my size can be recovered somewhat given my circumstances. I didn't have a large size to begin with so any cm counts.

If you were able to get back your size from pumping this won't be relevant to my situation as you lost size for a very different reason.

I see many guys claiming that they were able to get back x amount but their accounts are very suspect and not looking to spend months trying to grow my dick if its futile.

I want to hear ONLY from people who lost size due to radical prostatectomy (non nerve sparing). People who were left 100% impotent. Everyone else's account won't be relevant.

I have severe ED as a result of over 20 years of diabetes. However, Thanks to pumping to overcome my ED and stretching for a number of years, I did gain over 1” in erect girth and over 3/4” in erect length. But since I have not gone through prostate surgery, I will not bore you with the details.
Age 82
Diabetic
Pumping
Started Trimix injections 8/'11

Relevant or not, You should ask the surgeon who is going to do your implant.

Hopefully, he has done hundreds of implants. And can give you an idea of what to expect and how effective pumping is in restoring size.

Moving onto another method other than pumping.
What I have experienced (after prostate surgery and no natural anything after that) is that even though pumping had helped with girth and maybe holding the line on length, what it cannot help with is the deterioration of the root and inner corposa behind the visible part of the penis. Pumping only expands the visible penis, not the rest behind and between the legs. Remember in your heydays when a hardon felt like your penis went well beyond the visible portion and was almost the same girth and hardness? That inner part will wither after surgery or ED (and it also can hamper keeping your penis angle up since that part of scaffolding is no longer helping keep things at least pointing straight out).
My solution, if you are just after prostate surgery, is to start using injections that will expand all of the shaft for many hours each day to keep the inner part from shrinking permanently.
Also, a cheaper way to do this is to use a Misoprost 200 tablet dissolved and splooshed in the urethra. That'll keep blood flowing and things expanding for hours with no ache or pain.
It may or may not be good enough for intercourse -- depends on your health and circulation I suppose. But it will give you good. regular, daily expansions all along the shaft all the way back. Also, Misoprost is less than a $1 per pill ... way better than any other method.
RP 2008 ... MUSE 2008-9 .. TriMix Gel 2009 .. Trimix 2009-2015 ... PGE-1 2016-2019 ..Misoprostal 2019 Onward. All worked.

I had radical PT back in 2020 and still have not been able to regain my original size - not even while pumping. I was originally an average 6 inches but after prostate removal the most I can get during pumping is a little less than 5 inches. I lose my erection as soon as I deflate the vacuum.
I have noticed I can get a better erection from pumping if I take 50 mg sildenafil - I cannot take a full 100 mg sildenafil because I can see everything red. Sometimes I can get a semi hard-on (about 3 inches) without pumping but it is not good enough even for masturbation or for penetration. I pump to keep the blood flow to my penis. One urologist once told me that I have lost too much collagen because I did not start pumping exercises right after my prostate surgery.
Injections can also give you scarring along the shaft and to me they did not work because my penis was bent at the tip after injecting - later I found out that the glands get their blood flow from being excited and not by the trimix injection itself.
The prostactectomy took all the spontaneity from our love life so now I am a 63 yr old living like a 100 yr old guy.
