Is there any benefit to using a water based pump like bathmate over and air pump?
I read one little thing I could find about less edema with a water based pump.
Just wondering if anyone has found that to be the case.
Is there any advantage to a water pump over air?

dd,
I have not used a water based one, but comments from people who have used it said that, well, it gives you a soggier erection .. heh.. Well what did they expect?
I kind of get what they mean.. an air VED is ... Dry!
That's all I know.

I have used both a prefer air pumping. Air pumps come with a gauge which allows you to control the vacuum level and allows you to pump anywhere without worrying about spills.

Keep in mind that hydro pumps and air pumps have different uses. Air vacuum pumps are typically used before sex to get an instant erection and maintain it using a rubber ring. Water-based pumps are used in the bath or shower to "enhance" your erectile function. With regular use of water pumps you can expect some enhancement in girth, but not as significant as the marketers of Bathmate and other devices claim. Water pumps are not suitable for before-sex pumping, but some say they work well without water.
