Pump sleeve size

I've been using the pump with the sleeve for the recreation purpose (by recreation I mean girth ).
It works fine - the girth and length are getting good dimension while under negative pressure. However when I release the pump and start removing it, the tight sleeve pushes the blood out of the penis thus losing about 50% of the erection.
If I get a wider sleeve I am getting a bulge at the base and on top of that my scrotum start feeling great discomfort.
Is there any trick to remove the pump without pushing away the blood by the narrow sleeve?

Try it without the sleeve and see how that works.

Are you snapping on a constriction ring before removing the pump and sleeve? Philip
