Yes, I have it on the pump and place on cock while it is still in the pump. I can get a nice flow of blood and it looks beautiful to see how big i get. But as soon as I place the ring on dick and remove pump. I end up with a limp dick. I get so depressed over it. I also just skipped the shots and went for the implant. From what I have read...the shots don't work after a while and I'm ready for a hard dick again.

If you have gotten an implant this is a moot point.
However, if anyone else reading this has this problem you should 1. Try a smaller sized ring.
2. Try 2 rings.
Often it takes quite a bit of experimenting to get the right ring or combination of rings.

I had the same issue when I first started using the VED with a ring. As soon as I got erect and transferred the ring, the erection left. After a lot of experimenting with pumps and rings, I finally solved the problem. Actually, needed to go to smaller rings using two. The small size of the ring scared me - they look so small I reluctant to try them, but it worked. Had a scissors handy just in case, but with a lot of lubrication removal was absolutely no problem. I experimented with a lot of different pumps and rings: store bought; Vacurect; and ErecAid. I found the ErecAid rings worked best for me because of the design of the rings (pressure points on the veins). I started using them with a Vacurect pump, but it was difficult to manually stretch them onto the tube. Finally gave in and bought the ErecAid Classic - Rings much easier to install them with their installer. I still look at the size of the rings and can't believe they are so small. I'm average size and using 2 "D" size rings - I carefully observe the 30 minutes limit and keep my testicles from getting sucked into the VED.

Bottom line. That's what worked for me, but it might take some experimentation to find the best combination for you. Keep trying and don't give up...I didn't and I'm glad I didn't...The effort was worth the reward.

I had the same problem. Months after my RP, I finally was able to get an erection using a VED only to lose it after popping on the ring. AOM advised me to use two rings and the problem was solved.

At times, if we don’t get right at it, I start to lose my erection even with the two rings on. On one occasion, I stuffed it back in the VED with the rings on, (I had to push the rings up in the tube in order to get suction) pumped it back up and I was good to go.

Give it a try and let us know how you made out. Don’t give up.

Post RP I was using one of those novelty pumps. I would put 2 rings on the end of the tube, pump myself up and then pull the rings over my whole package (cock and balls). I'd have a decent hard-on to jerk off with, but certainly NOT for penetration. Then I got the Vacurect. This one offers different sizes of rings that you place on the end of the tube like putting a lid on a coffee cup. The rings come in many different sizes.... the one with the large opening you use to rehab (or if you are massively endowed....not me). It took lots of experimentation till I found the one that worked. I was able to find a few YouTube videos that show a real person using the pump on a real penis. I will say that the pulling of all the skin up towards the opening is concerning but I have gotten into wearing a larger cock ring around my balls and that feels better. I keep it close by when fucking and pump myself up a bit when/if I lose some hardness. The only downside is the removal process. The tension rings are made thick to hold the blood in your penis and so DO NOT stretch to remove it from your cock. After orgasm, you literally have to take your cock in both you hands and gently, but firmly, squeeze the blood out. Once your cock is much less rigid, you lube it up and slide the ring up and off. It doesnt hurt, and takes getting use to.

But back to you question about "taking it to the next step"..... My wife has a very low sex drive. I don't think I want to go through the surgery only to have "occasional" sex. The pump and injections are good enough for now...at 66 years old.

My prostatectomie was 23 months ago. I have been using a pump to "rehab" by penis 1 month after the catheter was removed. I started with the cheap sex-store ones....meh! I graduated to the Vacurect which works perfectly. This, of course was after lots of experimenting with how to use it, additional cockrings, etc. As far as sex with the wife...I hate the lack of spontanaety, the fact that you have to take it off before 30 minutes and the fact that my wife will not touch "it"...she finds it cold and unnatural (thanks honey). I started experimenting with different injectables over a year ago and have settled (for now) on Trimix. Again, the spontanaety is gone....but less so. You have to PLAN for sex, but I shoot up just before I brush my teeth and come to bed as I start "growing". It lasts a least an hour and my wife touches, sucks, etc. The cost is significant for me, so I alternate between using the pump and injections. Now all I have to do is get my wife more interested in sex BEFORE I GO OUT OF MY HEAD!!!!! (lol)

Im in Canada.....we don't have the same resources as you do in the US..... but I am planning on speaking with a DR who has better knowledge in the injectables than my urologist.
Are you using Trimix? What's your trimix content /amounts?
