sensitivity

I've been using a ved to get enough of an erection to have intercourse. It's not the best but it works and beats the hell out of no sex. I seem to have less sensitivity with using it. I was wondering if anyone else has noticed this?

Maybe? The days of my youth and firm erections are distant in the rear view mirror.
Now it is the choice between an attempt with a limp noodle or a hard on that could hammer nails.
Now-a-days it usually takes her orgasm to take me over the top. Since women can have long extended orgasm that go on and on it hasn't been a problem.
I can say if there is a decreased sensitivity it has been a good thing, so far at least!

The insensitivity is directly proportional to the time the tension bands remain in place. I can usually go ten minutes with good sensitivity, but it then starts to dissipate over the next ten minutes until it has almost completely disappeared.

How long after you already used the constriction ring could you reuse it for sex.

I've been known to do it after just a very few minutes. I'll take the ring off and let it go down. wait a couple and then pump and release a few quick times to change out the blood and then go at it again. I don't know what the actual medical recommendation would be from medical professionals.

A good, smart idea is what I would call it. You are oxygenating the blood which will prevent tissue death. Great advice my friend.

When you do this do you find you are good to go for as long as you were the first time or is the time before needing to repump again less than the 1st time?

Shoot, I don't know. The poor thing does get kinda wore out after a point. Hopefully the main event is over by then. The main point is that if you time out the first try you can have another go at it. If using the VED I need tighter medical grade constriction rings to keep it up unlike when I use novelty rings as just a supplement when injecting. The tight medical rings do eventually cause discomfort at their application site which alone will eventually end the pleasurability (is that a word?) of the whole scheme.

Have you tried a penile extension sleeve? I find using one relieves the discomfort of the restriction ring a great deal.

Bear in mind that you're cutting off the blood flow. So yeah, your dick does go a bit numb after a while.
According to the instructions that came with my VED, the bands shouldn't be left on for more than 30 minutes. I have pushed it to about 45 minutes from time to time without any ill effects. But again, remember that you are cutting off the blood flow which isn't exactly a good thing for the tissue.
