Keep pumping: returns are worth it

Hit a major milestone today. Been pumping for over 3 years .
Started with a natural erection bone pressed length of 6.2".

As of today i hit the 8.5" mark inside the tube. Of course that doesnt equate to an erect length of 8.5" but i can easily get to a flaccid stretch of 7.75"- 8" depending on how hard i press into the pubic tissue.

I know there is now way no how id have been able to do that 3 years ago.

So for all the guys contemplating going bionic....keep pumping to preserve or even combat post op loss.

Those are crazy numbers, congrats!
Wish I knew this before getting implanted.
Will try VED when I am sufficiently healed.

Pre-op VED therapy produces a number of effects.

Maintain elasticity of penile tissues.

Maintain oxygenation of penile tissues (not as much as natural, recurring erections, but even a little is better than none).

Anecdotally, having "exercised" or stretched the penis volume, insertion of the implant is easier for the surgeon and this may lead to less discomfort and faster recovery for the patient.

Potential for restoration of (recently lost) penis size (length and girth)

Overdoing the vacuum can lead to dire results: from temporary edema to permanent damage, so be careful.

Lost Sheep, are you also saying it is good before you get a revision?
I have a malleable right now, I really want a 3 piece. Its too early to tell what the malleable is giving me, but I seriously think I will be missing girth.

The conventional wisdom only a couple years ago was that pumping before the implant was beneficial and pumping after implant was dangerous. Of course, there was not 100% consensus on the matter, but most figured VED Therapy before implant did not harm as long as it was not OVERdone. There were a few medical journal papers written supporting the concept pre-implant pumping was advantageous. They have been cited here on FrankTalk.

Now, just in the past couple years, pumping before AND after are considered (probably) to yield benefits. Post-implant pumping is nowhere near 100% consensus, but some surgeons are unopposed and a few even advocate it (as I have read here, not first-hand testimony and I have seen no peer-reviewed Medical Journal articles on the matter).

The protocols I read are to pump at least 60 days before a virgin implant. Before a revision (as you specified) is known to me, but I imagine it could not hurt if not overdone and may help.

Cool! OK, someone tell me how to go about the VED therapy.
Does Dr. Kramer prescribe it? Do it on my own? HELP!

Well said,Sheep. Good advice.
Ill say for all members using VEDs just listen to your body. I have done no permanent damage as of yet. I do push myself sometimes. Briefly.
I give rest where rest is due. I am consistent and diligent.

Some of why i posted is also to share to true possibility that over time you CAN acutally increase your girth and length permanently. I once thought this to be complete nonsense. But i suppose seeing with your own eyes is the only way to eliminate doubt.
I see many a man on here VERY concerned after reading about length loss post op.
For many who see implantation as a definite in their future like myself;consistent use of a VED while striving for a lengthier and easier implantation is a very real possibility.
Be patient. Be consistent. Dont hurt yourself. But know you CAN do it.

Hi everyone, My first post having just reg'd recently. so here goes.
I had my prostate removed 4.5 years ago. I'm now 59. Fit and healthy all my life ...veggie 25 years .. don't smoke ... drink occasionally. keep myself fit when i can be bothered. No hard-ons like I used to have pre op. So massive come down and bordering on real sadness inside Got a beautiful girlfriend who is tolerant at my popping into the bathroom to use the pump. Sex is ok ish but i don't always reach orgasm as there is less sensitivity with the pump device. I do take 10/20 megs of cialis so there's something there but never anything near what was. I used to inject with apropostil but its was 20 mins max and a little sore going up.So prefer the pump .would love to know if trimix is any good - or long at least.
I masterbate pretty regularly tho aware of dipping libido. Reading you post I am going to spend 30 mins a day using the pump with the ring just to engender something in the future. Also would anyone suggest anything other I could try than Cialis? I take a supplement of L'arginene which boosts amino acids which can help your blood flow ultimately to the penis. Is this anyone else experience? Your thoughts gratefully received
