Hey all,

I just got my first VED. It's not a medical-grade one so it doesn't have the part that allows you to preinstall a cockring to use later, it's electrical and has different speeds...
I've tried it out for the first time, going pretty slow and not for long durations since i have no experience with this and don't want to damage the tools, etc...
I noticed it's pretty hard to remove the pump from me even after removing the actual pumping part and having no vacuum on - the sleeve is very sticky, even when using the lube that came with the pump. I'll try again with our own lube which seems much nicer to the touch.

Still, i am curious if there are any instructional videos that actually show you how it works and what you should aim for... i saw some demos with an artificial penis but that's just pointless.

Hunchback: I do not have any info on demo videos, but did have a problem with my penis getting "caught" on the inside of the cylinder.. I found if I lubricated the penis before entering the cylinder, the problem was solved. I used albolene, mineral oil or coconut oil. You want a light oil as I found vaseline took a while to spread around. Another couple of tips, shave or trim the pubic hair around the base of the penis. Also lubricate the seat of the cylinder. On that you do want vaseline, because you are trying to prevent leaks between the cylinder and the pubis. Other that that, it is just a little trial and error.

Thanks for the tips. I've done all of these tho. I'll try another lube, as I said, cause the one provided with the device seems very thick and sticky, more like the gel they use for an ultrasound rather than one for sexual activities.

Might also be the quality of the product, I got a cheaper one just so I can try out how it works and maybe do some exercise before deciding weather to get a 300 euros medical one or not. The one I got has a very tight cylinder cushion thing that's made of soft but very sticky rubber/plastic. When using the device my dick gets sucked inside but then it's technically impossible to pull it out, even if soft. Can't imagine doing it with a ln actual erection lol. Hope an alternative lube will help.

I mostly agree with cincinnatus.

I just use coconut oil. I use a lot. I lube the full inside of the tube and my dick, top to bottom. I often have to add more after a couple of repetitions and I get bigger. If doing that you still have trouble getting out you probably need a fatter tube.

The actual tube is huge, i could almost fit my hand inside. The sleeve is small tho. Thought that was good, since i have a pretty small dick, but yeah... will add more lube next time

I wonder tho, i didn't get actually "erect" today. I didn't want to push it, i did a couple of repetitions by pumping until i got about my regular length or a bit less, held for 4-5 minutes and released. It didn't exactly hurt but slightly burned and i did start to get tiny red dots on the glans. I wanted to avoid edema so i decided to give it a rest for today. But none of the times i pumped it up and held it did i get actually hard inside. I got big and plump but it wouldn't "stand" if it was outside the cylinder.

A viagra, etc, can help. I do many small repetitions for very short times (a minute or so) with very short rest intervals also. With each repetition I get a little bigger. I don't try or expect it to get full size until quite a few repetitions in. Erotic thoughts or pictures can help a bunch, as can an enthusiastic assistant. I can't get any erection without a pump or shot but eroticism sure does help with pumping. YMMV!

Every guy is different. Some members have the pumping thing really figured out. Maybe they have better techniques or maybe they are just lucky and it works better for them.

It's a slower process for me. Even when I do get fully pumped it goes down really fast without a medical grade constriction ring.

For removing a tight fitting cylinder, I found that a lubricated tooth brush handle pushed up between dick a cylinder wall let’s in a lot of air to eliminate the vacuum holding it in.
