poor seal with a medical VED

I'm having trouble achieving a decent seal with my 3 cylinder VED. I've shaved and applied the lube but the seal doesn't quite hold. I have a feeling the VED pump head may need a replacement. Any advice on what do in cases like this? Shall I try again or just buy a replacement

Did you try putting some lube where the pump head connects with the cylinders? That might help.

You need to push the cylinder into your fat pad until the vacuum starts to take hold.

do you get any vacuum when using the 'A' cylinder?
as above push your VED back into your fat pad then pump up

Try placing the open end of tube , with a small amount of lube, against a flat smooth surface. You might try a plate. See if it holds a suction. With the Classic Manuel pump or the Esteem you can remove , clean, and reinsert the top end with a small amount of lube. Call their customer support number on their website.
I hope this helps.
