Well, didnt know where to put this thread, so here it is. Haven't done injections in two weeks, mainly because im one week post op from double Hernia surgery (lots of pain) , but getting better. Decided to go back to viagra, hopefully uro will script for me, got exact fit rings. Buying a gauged pump ,using injections only if i can, i think im doing more harm to my penis than good, they dont get me hard no matter what! So, i thought if i go with pump, pills, rings at the least i can keep it functionable, healthy, size. So until i can get an implant hopefully around june sometime, ive got to do something!!! Anyone got ideas to throw at me?? Thx ,lee

I had double hernia surgery with a mesh on both sides over 30 years ago. I do remember sex was me putting it in and her doing the work. Moving and thrusting was extremely painful.

With that in mind I think a vacuum pump could possibly press into some very tender areas. I do a lot of pumping and every now and then I get a twinge from one side or both.

Do you wear a ring with pump?

Yes. When using the VED for sex I wear 2 Osbon rings. Also wear a Penile Foam Sleeve to help with discomfort of tight rings.
On the days of our scheduled sex I take a 20mg generic sildenafil about an hour before. That seems to help the pumping go faster and easier. Using the manual pump I pump 25 times and hold the vacuum for a count of 20. I release and repeat. The 3rd time I replace the manual pump with the electric one and when my dick is hitting the bottom of the electric pump and it is still pumping, I add the rings.

If you are going to use a VED I suggest practicing and experimenting on your own. You may find a different routine that works better for you.

Well after messaging my uro, he called me for the first time in 17 months, when i said i was going for implant, he sparked right to life. I think he gave me the reins cause he surmised the out come. He ordered the script for me very happily and a app for an erectaid pump, but im not paying 200.+ For a pump ill probably only be using for a few months, so I'll get one on Amazon with a gage for now. I have an appt with him end of june to go over options and ask him about his implant record . He's a hyper guy and a little aggressive with his motivation's. I'm a little nervous with him, or maybe I'm getting nervous! Just having the three holes in belly has been quite painfully annoying and in 4-5 months to do the implant, whoof. Thx for any or all your info, it all helps in this time of uncertainty ( out of my control) which i usually have been. Lol

Try finding the Envoy brand as they make it easy to put the ring on your cock. You should find them for about $100. or less.

I bought an erectaid pump, it was very expensive and broke in just over a year. So I would advise against buying an expensive pump. Especially for such a short time, especially given you are only using it to maintain size. I now use a cheap pump of amazon. It's actually easier to clean than the expensive pump. There are many of them available.

Your Dr probably just knew all along than an implant was going to be the best option for you. He's now simply happy that you've come to the realisation. I found it was quite a weight off my mind to accept that an implant was really the only realistic long term option. Do you have the same feeling now?

The handle snapped. I'm not sure if it was a manufacturing fault, either an error in the process or in the design itself, or if it was me doing something I should not have. I looked after it given the price. It wasn't exposed to sunlight, high temperature, detergents or anything else that I can think of that would degrade the material.

I McGuyvered a solution, but the handle broke deep inside in an ackward location, so it was never 100% again.

Mine has been pretty bullet proof. I had it for about 10 years. If it's broke at just over a year I'd have called them to see about getting replaced. Oh well!
