So, can you get a full solid erection from pumping? Im confused if ED has an effect on overall hardness. I just assumed everyone is pumping up a limp dick to an erect one? Is a penetrative erection feasible when you are not able to achieve arousal?

I use the pump for physical therapy only. I have gained significant length and girth by pumping. Pumping does not give me a usable erection for penetration. I use a quadmix injection and the xialla cock ring for sex. I have not had a failure in over a year using this approach. I am 77.

For a lot of us getting the erection by pumping is only 1/2 the battle. In order to keep the erection (rings) must be used.

I get a full solid erection from pumping and sometimes use viagra if I want to enhance it more. Over time my erections have improved and I now get semis without pumping but these are not yet up to penetrative sex to orgasm.
At first I found my erection was failing during sex and it was difficult to orgasm until I tried different rings, I found the sex shop ones of no real use and moved onto medical grade rings which are fantastic - you need to use one as tight as possible without it hurting and it holds a full erection for as long as necessary - although don't go for more than 30 minutes as this can damage your dick.
I now get an orgasm every time which I put down to the full erection which I think enhances sensation by stretching the nerve endings across the glans and gives proper sensation when I'm in her pussy. The pump works just fine....but with the help of two rings and pills. I tried injections/stabbing my manhood, just didn't work out. Too painful and caused too much bending and shrinkage. Surgery is defiantly out of the question. So back to pumping.....works fine and reliable. It is mechanical before sex, but it works just fine. No problems with orgasm, penetration, or anything......it's just too mechanical. Better than nothing.

I no longer find it too mechanical. I setup everything in advance so I'm ready to go. After foreplay, I lube myself, pump up and install the 2 rings. It takes maybe all of a minute and a half or two minutes. You can even get your partner to play with you while pumping if she supports what you are doing. Have great erections without pills or shots. Without the pump and rings, I have maybe a 25% erection which is useless for anything - vein leakage. Finding the manufacturer of the rings for your needs; the right size and combination of rings is the hardest part. Fear of going too small on the rings can also be a problem, but again it's trial and error.

I agree! I think the key word is TOO. For us consistently successful sex had a lot to do with the fading importance of the mechanical aspect.
