Basic "beginner" non-medical pump?

I'm new to ED, trying everything. If I want to start with a basic pump what features matter? Are there pumps only available at retailers vs online be it Amazon or eBay.
(It's also not clear to me if the pump is tactical or can be strategic and improve anything longer term.)

Im implanted now, but i got mine off Amazon for like $27. Buy one with the rt size tube for your erection size and a gauge and the handle you prefer. Worked good to retain size and i gained 1/2" in girth, 1/4" lenght. Never used for injection s or pills, but if you can then go for it, but take it up slow until your dic gets use to the pressure and just kinda play around. Dont over pump, you can possibly atrophy a vein, if you feel any ache or pain back it off some. Hope this helped.

Honestly, most of the imported toys on Amazon are crap. If they work at all, they will soon fail. I did use a pump and ring for about two years (now trimix mostly, but still use the pump for "exercise").

You said non-medical. I will assume you don't want to use the pump for having sex.
What do you hope to achieve by using the pump?
If it is to maintain healthy tissue by establishing a daily exercise routine then a low-cost, basic, sex store pump will work. I tend to avoid Amazon if I can. Ebay has a selection of low cost LeLuv pumps. They also have larger cylinders available if the standard size is too small.

Thx. I was thinking I would try one that is decent even if inferior (by how much I don't know... replies here may tell me) to medical. My thoughts were yes for sex if I feel like I could use it in the rotation (maybe in combo w/ PDE5 drug if that's not a bad idea) and then also just to see if there were any therapeutic benefit from regular pumping (within reason, not going overboard).

two things. yes, there is a huge benefit to pumping for penile rehabilitation. An emphatic yes. And you can use a "medical pump" for this purpose, you don't have to use a ring. But the ring option is there with medical pumps if you want to have penetration, or just want to keep the ring on for a short while to exercise the penis. The issue with the Amazon stuff is that it's all over the roadmap in quality.

I'm throwing so money at this already. The delta between medical and consumer product is probably a rounding error... so maybe medical after all.

You can’t go wrong with a LeLuv pump on Amazon for under $80. They come with a flanged base rim for comfort and vacuum gauge.
Cylinder sizing chart:
Girth —---> Cylinder Diameter
3.50 to 4.50* --> 1.50
4.75 to 5.25* --> 1.75
5.50 to 6.00* --> 2.00
6.25 to 6.75* --> 2.25
7.00 to 7.50* --> 2.50
7.75 to 8.25* --> 2.75

Thx, good article. LeLuv looks like something made from parts bought at Harbor Freight but if it works it works!
