Hey Men,

Was curious how many of you use the pump with rings for sex? I’ve been in ED hell the last month or so. I use pills and injections sometimes both at the same time but lately I’ve had the creeping feeling of oh crap.

I have a Sonoma VED and have been using that with rings but I’m not happy with that. Maybe I’m not doing something right. I can get full enough for penetration and make it last but it just doesn’t cut the mustard.

Working on a few other things in the midterm to see if that works, but as it stands now maybe my expectations were higher than reality.

Thoughts?

I had a willing partner with a Vacuum Erection Device (VED) and we tried twice with constriction rings.

When I pumped it up, she looked at my penis (inside the clear VED tube) and remarked, "Impressive". I felt good at that.

I snapped the ring down on the base of my penis and we started coitus. She expressed a little dismay that my penis started to turn purple pretty quickly. That may have influenced her lack of orgasm. She came close, but did not before we had to call a halt to the proceedings. Too much pain at the base of my penis.

A second attempt came up short of the first attempt.

I used the VED only for therapy until my implant.

Conclusion: There is no getting around the need for a helpful and willing partner for sex with a VED and constriction rings. It is possible, but for me, a lot of trouble for slim results. However, the size of my constriction-ring supported erection was quite satisfactory and the rigidity pretty good. With her vagina wet enough, entry was smooth and thrusting good. If we had tried more times, we probably would have gotten it "right" eventually.

As a plaything, the VED and subsequent erection could be quite a lot of fun for a couple willing to experiment with activities But it does take a degree of commitment on the part of the partner to make it the relaxing and exciting activity (I think) sex should be.

For me, it was less satisfactory than cunnilingus and toys on her and fellatio for me plus spooning (which does not require rigidity).

I use a VED for sex. It works great for us.

A good quality vibrator, doggy style, and a blindfold can be your friends!

Hey Spontaneous. Thanks, that did indeed seem to be the case. went to a larger ring and while not optimum, much more palatable.

I had an Osbon. I hated it and my wife despised it. No sex at all was preferable to that thing.

I use an Osbon system with 2 rings very successfully. Wife did not like it at first because of the feel of the rings but solved that with a thin rubber shield over the rings. She also said it didn't look of feel natural because of the hardness and color, but she got over that. I tried several VED systems and found Osbon the best for me. Pills and injections didn't reliable for me.

About 12 years ago I bought a VED for my ED.

I could pump it up and use a constriction ring, but it would not hold an erection suitable for sex.
The erection would be lost in a minute or less.
If I took Viagra it would sort of work, but at that point, the VED was not needed.

I never used the VED with my wife and I was too embarrassed to bring it up.

Earlier this year I got Peyronies Disease (PD). I lost a full size in both length and girth and have a noticeable curve.
Sex is possible but quite limited.

After reading about numerous treatments for PD, the use of VED was (often) recommended to regain size.
Several months ago I started using the VED 1-2 times daily, And have noticed a marked improvement in size.

I still have the (dreaded) curve and will start Verapamil injection treatment to hopefully address that issue.

On another note: Since starting the daily use of VED, I also use the VED for 1-2 minutes before injecting Trimix which I use for my ED.
In this instance, the VED does two things. It gets the blood flowing and gives a much better target area in which to inject.
Also I found it brings on a quicker (full) erection.
Without priming the pump (with VED) I found that the trimix takes longer to work.

Once viagra and injections stopped being effective, using a VED is the only way I can achieve an erection. I also had to move up to two Osbon bands.The constriction causes my erection to start to loose sensitivity after ten minutes and after 10 to 15 minutes there is no sensitivity. As a result, I find it very difficult to orgasm although it works well to satisfy my wife.

We used my high price VED this afternoon. After several great erection starts that slowly dwindled (erections) based on recommendations we used two rings today for first time. It worked magnificently. My partner is something of a size queen and loved it. Very hard and large compared to my normal (7.25L x 6.25 G.) Usually after 20 minutes of continuous pumping I get tired at 80 years young. So my partner then sits on my dick reverse cow girl position with her little bullet clitolator going wild. Yep my dick turned dark as usual with a VED device but it did work. Had to take bands off in order to ejaculate but was still hard after ejaculation for a few minutes. Oral sex to finish is great. Whew. One benefit of high price Urology recommended VED was wonderful videos and orientation. Was it worth $300. Initially I thought no, but after reading all the questions on this forum I realize the wonderful orientation and support from the Manufacturer made it so easy for us from the get go. Only thing until today was sometimes my erection dwindled after 15-20 minutes of steady pumping. The two rings today took care of that and my partner loved the length of time my erection stay big and hard. BTW, video explained that dick will turn red and dard with VED and rubber rings but it was normal, so that eased any concerns that would have worried the heck out of me otherwise. Best wishes.
