Replacement Time?

Postby Slacker » Sat Apr 18, 2026 5:34 pm

I'm using an Osbon ErecAid Classic Manual Pump, which I have had for 10 years. It is getting the job done, but I am concerned that after so long, the plastic tubing and/or other components may be deteriorating, and that I might not be realizing the maximum benefits that might be available now. Am I wrong in being concerned that the materials might be breaking down? Can I buy replacement parts? Are there improved options that I should consider?

That’s a very good pump. If it’s getting the job done I would not replace it just because of it’s age. When it no longer meetings your needs or fails it’s only a matter of days to get a replacement.
