HELP!

So, I have been practicing with a pump by myself for months with super results. I sometimes take a half viagra or levitra before pumping. The pump and two bands very quickly get me to a firm, long lasting erection. I thought all my problems were solved. I am a diabetic type 2 and there is no way I am getting an erection without some help.
My wife has been having some issues so we have not had sex for two years minimum. I have told her about the pump and she agreed to try last night. The timing is awkward but it is doable, with planning and communication. Last night, I don't count as the foam band and tension rings got dislodged when you was grinding on me. Tonight was utter disappointment. After foreplay, I returned to my room to pump up. I quickly pumped up an erection but had to walk over several rooms to her bed. After talking and cuddling I lost my erection for some reason. I was not nervous and she was willing. I did take half a levitra about 30 minutes before but apparently that did not work. I know it is just my first or second attempt at intercourse but I didn't expect it to go flat. I don't know if I was tired or whatever or if the timing is so odd.
My wife is understanding but I don't think she is going to keep letting me try with no results. If I could maintain my erection, we can get through the unwieldiness of this procedure.
So, I am pretty frustrated and rethinking all I am doing. Maybe I need a smaller tension band. Maybe I was tired. Maybe I should not be walking over several rooms. Maybe I should take a whole viagra or cialis.
FYI, I tried injections about a year ago. I got a tremendous erection in the office but was never able to get one at home injecting myself. And, the pain was incredible. Just horrific. I did return to the office and they adjusted my mixture but to no avail.
I would get an implant if the pump proves not to work in a real world situation. I really would but don't know if I am just pissed off right now.
Any help or advice would be sincerely appreciated.

OK, some logistical issues. Sex should be fun...make pumping up part of sex. Do not walk several rooms away to pump up. Hve the VED all lubed, primed, ready to go. You can still play with her while pumping. By this time, your erection should be pretty fast if you've been practicing. Yes, smaller ring.
The only thing that worries me is that you said your wife might not continue to let you try? Does she hate sex that much? Does she hate you that much? If she does not want to see you pumping up...you have a relationship issue, not an ED issue! So, make it part of sex play...just reach over, grab the pump and get to work. If sex can't be fun with each other, then there are much bigger issues.
Also, fatigue does not play a role in VED erections. They are entirely mechanical. Use a tighter band if you are losing the erection. and not sure how the band would come loose with her grinding on top of you.
Also,,,missionary position is worst for VED sex. I have patients stand by the side of the bed with her hips right at the edge of the bed with her legs either around you, or up your chest. These angles are far better for everyone. You have hands free to play with each other and you can stimulate her clitoris while inside her.

Secondly, injections...your medication did not need adjusting, your technique did. If it hurt like that..you were hitting the urethra. Needle was too long, etc. There is NO WAY that it worked in the doc's office and then suddenly does not work at home. You need more training. 100% of this kind of thing are patient technique related. If you told your doctor what you said here...and he did not work on technique? He is a BAD doctor. You may love and respect him, but he should be fired. He failed you, big time. Penile injections should not hurt. If they do, something is wrong.

Keep trying! Don't give up.

What? Huh? You Did What? And What? And What else??

Levitra? Viagra? Pumps? Walking after pumping and losing erection quickly?

My head is exploding here ....

It's like you copied a bunch of lines from a bunch of posts and stuck them all together.

Care to try again??

J

I think my post was coherent enough. Why would I copy from other posts?? I don't care to try again but thanks for your input.

I appreciate your thoughts. To clarify, no relationship problem here. She just has some issues of her own, mostly libido related. I will pump up in the same room.
I may reengage with the injection doctor. I will say it hurt even after the doctor's injection I think partly because my penis had not been that large in a bit.
Again, thanks for your very helpful suggestions!

I was also having problems with constriction not being tight enough to hold my erection. I now use an Osbon tension band which hasn't failed me in over a year.

My wife has no issue with a pumped/constricted erection. However, she has indicated she does not care to see me pump it up. My usual procedure is to pump up in the bathroom and then crawl in bed behind her with a well lubed erection and offer to rub her back. She then rolls over (it has now become a regular routine) and faces away from me while I start to rub her back. I then proceed to slip my erection into her from behind (spoon position). We proceed in this fashion until she gets excited enough to move onto our Favorate position (missionary).

Just a suggestion.

Thanks! I will look into the Osbon ring. I think your method is going to be similar to mine.

Google "Osbon tension band". There are several suppliers. I found one for $17 with free or nominal shipping.

Hi James,

I have been successfully injecting with Edex and Caverject for over 16 years. I completely agree with Paul’s comments. If the injection worked in your Uro’s office, it will work equally well at home.

It’s my experience that pain can occur IF you’re injecting into a flaccid/soft penis. Make sure your penis is at least SEMI-HARD, preferably fully hardened. If you’re having trouble getting a partial erection, use your pump and ring to get hard and hold the erection. The needle goes into a hardened penis very easily. And, don’t be afraid to push the needle all the way in. James, it will feel good. Make sure you use needles that are 30 gauge or less, ½ “ long. Insulin needles work perfectly.

James,

You didn’t mention whether you give your wife oral sex or if she was getting orgasms during your sexual explorations. Whether you’re having ejaculations or not, you need to make sure she has an orgasm EACH time. The best way to make sure this happens is to go down on her and give her oral on her clitoris with your tongue, NOT your ginger. If you’re not familiar with this practice, there is much information available on Google, including pictures and precise information on techniques. If you’re giving her a fantastic orgasm each time, she will gladly except your trials and tribulations.

Let us know how things are working for you.
