I have an average size penis, but when I use my Encore pump, my head seems to fill the tube and the shaft seems to not get fully engorged. Sorry about using common terms. What I'm trying to say is that when the head gets full enough to block the vacuum from going to the shaft it seems to defeat the purpose of pumping. When I've tried the rings, I lose too much hardness to actually be of use to me. I still use it to avoid shrinkage or should I say excessive shrinkage.

Encore has a "over-sized" tube ... quite expensive ($71)

That larger tube is a good one.

Much higher quality than the standard one. And of course the pumps fit the larger tube just fine. I bot mine 2+ years ago for around 50 .. no doubt it does cost a lot more now but maybe search around for the best price also . They do vary a lot.

One thing about the larger tube is Much Thicker walls .. and of course is wider. So snapping the rings off will really be only for the most Manly among us.. .. I still hold my breath a bit when I do em... also there is no cone .. so you gotta slip them on by hand too. But can be done pretty easy once you learn.. even using the Osbon d-sizes.

Pror to getting a VED with a cone, I was able to pull on the Osbon and slip it down my well lubed Pumped erection and worked it close to the base. After kegeling a few times, I was able to achieve an erection similar to what I can now achieve with the VED. Just a thought if you want to avoid the "manly" snap.

I've always marveled how you could kegel to get pumped back up thru an osbon ring.

I don't know how you can do it with kegels -- but they must be helluva good ones.

Maybe I just don't do kegels right.

Will give it a try again sometime and see what happens ( are you using a D ring or a larger one?).

My eyes are not that good, but it looks like a D. When I order from Vitality Medical, I check medium size, standard tension. I have always assumed it was the kegeling, but it could be just the erotic sensation of wearing a tight constriction band but my ED is very severe and most erotic sensations do very little for my erections.

Sorry I'm so late responding. I've actually been trying out the tri-mix but my dosage is too weak. 50mg of Viagra seems to make it satisfactory, but it sort of defeats the purpose of the injections. I did see an oversized tube advertised, but I wonder how it could fit the existing pump? If it's bowed out where the glans goes and narrows back to the pump, I suppose it would work.
If I get the formula right, I may not be needing the pump.
