Pump works fine, lubes make me itch

All the water-based lubes I've tried make me itch, and the effect doesn't wash away easily, it bothers for a week more or less even after washing. I am sensitive to some laundry detergents also and have to stick to a couple hypo-allergenic ones. A curse of being a redhead.
So the question is what else can you use to seal a pump to your body while pumping? It doesn't really need to be a lube, molasses or Karo might work, I haven't tried. I pump for 3-4 minutes with a Pos-T-Vac, it has to not dry out in that time frame. A thickened silicone lube might work, although I don't look forward to not being able to get rid of it. Replacing the latex parts of the pump (tension ring, bushing) with nitrile so I can use oil-based lubes like mineral oil might work too.
Anybody else deal with this problem?
Alan

I use a sex store pump and cylinder. I use Vaseline as a lube.

If you use a foam sleeve the pump will seal and the pump never touches you skin. Also if you use rings the foam sleeve really helps with the snap when the rings come off the tube.

I use cocoa butter. 15 oz container of Walmart brand costs about $3.

I have used hand soap and then add water to make it slippery then after pumping up I just wash off the soap. Main thing I need is getting it slippery then it seems to work with no problem. Only issue I have with this is you may need to add a little lube to get the ring off.

Thanks for the suggestions. I was about to try a bottle of this stuff
http://www.amazon.com/I-D-Moments-Hypoa ... B004XJD9M0 but I think I'll try the cocoa butter first, since it's summer and I can use it to get a tan. I'm surprised it doesn't bother latex. I wonder if liquid hand soap or maybe shampoo would work, I wasn't thinking along those lines at all. Maybe I'll try a foam sleeve, but I don't shave. It sounds like the least messy method.

It was the glycerin in most lubes that was bothering me. That's what most people have trouble with according to some Google searches. I've got a tube of K-Y Warming lube without glycerin and that doesn't bother me.

I pump sometimes 1-2 hours and have no problem with baby oil. Several of my pump buddies used k-y, k-y warming gel and Equate personal lubricant. All are good lubes but you have to stop and put more on so often

A recommendation I haven't tried yet, but will soon is shaving cream. It is water based and cleans up easily. It came highly recommended from one of the oldest prostate cancer sites. I know this response is 2 years late, but maybe it will help someone.

I see some posts here of users pumping 1 to 2 hours or even 30 min. When I pump it only takes a min to get full erection what are you guys doing pumping and releasing several times to exercise the penis?
