New to pumping

Postby impotentredditor » Wed Apr 18, 2018 6:17 am

Ive got a new penis pump (a cheap one from a sex to shop ), and now I'm trying to use it for VES protocol. However, when I pump it up, I start to feel a lot of pressure on my groin as the vaccum.chamber starts to press into my groin. Is this normal ?
Should I continue to pump at this stage ?

I dont feel any pain in my penis, only on my groin and around it, and my balls when thr vaccum thbe starts to push into my groin.
26 year old with lifelong venous leak. Hoping to get an implant soon.

I get this too. It makes sense to me that it would do that :)

So do I continue pumping further when I feel pain in my groin (where the tube pushes into the scrotum), or do I stop ? Would pumping further cause any injury ?

My doctor told me 5 - 10 minutes 3 or 4 times a day. If you leave it on there too long you will get haematomas on the glans. :)

Hmm, how hard and stiff were your erections with the pump? Mine seems loose and flaccid, and the glans doesnt engorge much.

Well I use it with the implant so I don't really know what the pump is doing and how much is vacuum. I don't know if I am pumping the vacuum too little, too much or just right, but I have seen an increase in girth in the 4 months since surgery and think my wife loves Dr. Brock and much as me. :)

“A cheap one from a sex shop” could be your problem. Better quality cylinders usually have a wider flanged base edge. LeLuv offers a reasonably priced quality “all in” system for about $80. It includes a pump with a vacuum gauge so you can maintain the vacuum level at a safe level - 4 to 5 in.hg.

Also cylinder sizing is important.

Cylinder sizing according to,LAPump

Girth --> Cylinder Diameter
3.50 to 4.50* --> 1.50
4.75 to 5.25* --> 1.75
5.50 to 6.00* --> 2.00
6.25 to 6.75* --> 2.25
7.00 to 7.50* --> 2.50
7.75 to 8.25* --> 2.75
Age 83

As others have stated, it is probably the "cheap" pump. They make donut sleeves that fit over the end of the pump that can cushion and make it somewhat more comfortable. It is just a matter of finding one that works. Look for penis pump accessories on ebay.
Married 50+ years. Use VED for sex and do
daily exercises with both water and vacuum pumps.

I got one from a sex shop about 3 years ago for $60. I wasn't the cheapest and it wasn't the most expensive. It did not have a gauge but the doctor said the ideal pressure will be a little uncomfortable because it is suppose to be stretching. I am only 4 months post op and both my wife and I have noticed an increase in girth already... not so much in length but I blame botched surgery on that. I find that if using the VED to assist with my LGX it seems to be adequate. :)
