Hello everybody,
I have some questions, especially for those who are injecting outside their home.
I'm a single quy and occasionaly have a 'hookup. Cialis doesn't do the job always so i'm looking for alternatives.
No experience with injections yet. Over here they sell Androskat.
I was wondering if i can prepair a shot at home, put in an autoject and carry it with me in an insulin cooler bag. Or is an autoject to big to carry in a cooler bag.
If i haven't used the autoject, can i store the filled autoject in the fridger for the next time?
How do you single guy's in the dating scene do this? Can you do it secretly?
Thank you very much!

I'm not single and don't have extracurricular hookups.
The Autoject should fit in some cooler bags.
The Androskat appears to be a Bi-mix at best and lacking any alprostadil (PGE1). You may wish to consider Edex or Caverject if those options are available to you. Edex and possibly Caverject are self contained and won't require a cooler bag or injector.

The medicine(Trimix) is not that volatile that you need to worry about keeping it cool while on a date. While it may lose some potency over time it's my belief that it would probably take a couple days before seeing a slight difference in potency? I've left a vial out over night on more then one occasion and the Trimix was not really noticeably any less potent. Although I think it's not ideal to have it out of the fridge or freezer for an extended period of time it doesn't just stop working on and off like a light switch.

I'm interested to know what experience people have re: traveling. I've been buying EDEX from a Canadian pharmacy, and while I really like to get laid on vacation - it's one damned expensive orgasm.
I'd much rather carry some Trimix somehow.

If only it was powdered until saline was added...

Re: Injections, autoject and travelling
I use compounded alprostadil (PGE1) which I receive as liquid in saline. I've traveled with it for almost 2 weeks keeping in in a cooler while driving and in hotel refrigerators or freezers. I'm sure it must have lost some potency but otherwise it worked fine. Tri-mix should travel even better. Sure, the Edex is easier, requiring no refrigeration, but it's very doable with the compounded stuff.

smphead and Clayton,
For ideas on how to conveniently and "cool-ly" travel with trimix, do a search on this site for "Frio."
That's the brand name of a nifty type of travel pouch that uses water evaporation to produce cooling. Better yet, you'll see that the various Frio posts have drawn good discussion and good info from other experienced FT members weighing in on their favorite travel/cooling technologies.
It's not a big problem, really.

Re: Injections, autoject and travelling
When I went on vacation last summer and on a business trip in October that the wife tagged along on I kept my vial inside a ziploc bag that I squeezed all the air out of and placed it inside a small ice filled kids drinking stainless steel thermos and periodically replaced the ice about every day and a half. I would fill the thermos over 90% full of ice and place the ziploc containing the vial on top of the ice and put the cap on it. I think it would keep ice for more then 2 days in that thermos. I kept 4 or 5 syringes with alcohol swabs in a hard sided clam shell type eye glass case

I'm not exactly clear on what the relevance of this post is...?
