Concerning the dulling of the syringe with repeated use. I have had occasion to use a needle that had been inserted into the vial twice (30g needle), but had not been used for injection yet. It was noticeably tougher to get it thru the Corpus Canvernosum sheath.

Also you may have noticed that all vials are not made alike. My Trimix 5-10 ml via is capped with the very softest rubber that allows a 30g needle to slip right thru with ease. But my vials of 30ml bacteriastatic water are capped with wicked tough rubber -- I can just get 29g needles thru it and it always feels like its ready to bend or break. I doubt a 30g would go thru without bending and definitely would be duller for the try.

So that's my take on the rubbers...

This morning I was using my 30 g 1/2 inch syringe and noticed the needle was almost all the way in before I got the reassuring feeling of it sliding in easier with less tension. At this point I pressed the hilt slightly into the surface of the skin before pushing the plunger. I wondered to myself that I may not have been successful with a 5/!6 inch needle.

I know I have been criticized for this before, but I regularly reuse my "disposable" syringe. As a diabetic, I had often reused my syringes up to ten or more times for insulin shots. However, my diabetic supplies include pretreated alcohol swabs which I use to clean the needles before use.

There's a video on one of the injection threads. I forget which one. Or maybe do a search for "trimx injection video".

Basically, there are two "rules": alternate left and right and, pretending that there's a clock face on the end of your pecker, inject at 10:00 and 2:00 about 1/2" to 1" from your belly. Oh, and allow 48 hours between injections.

I'm surprised the uro didn't give you instructions. Mine showed me how by doing the first shot himself. My only mistake was not bringing my wife to the appointment....

Another thing. I think that when injecting if you meet a little resistance at first, this shows you are injecting into the right place.
