New to Trimix, this is what has been happening
Re: New to Trimix, this is what has been happening
You're probably allergic to the trimix. However the trimix burns me a bunch but not nearly as bad as you describe. Have no burning whatsoever with alprostadil.
Age 80 good health. Radiation prostate 28 hits 4 years ago with 6 months of horrible ADT. Good recovery and ED worse.
Can't tolerate oral drugs but 5 years of Alprostadil 40mcg/ml 25 units is a miracle for 3 hours. GF is happy!!

I had HIFU on one side last December. I get natural, strong erections sometimes now, though some persistent psychological "annoyances" usually make them fade before I can use them. Trimix works every time though, at least three times a week on average. Works too good sometimes. One thing I don't like though, and I'm certain this is not related to Trimix use, is that my ejaculations are retrograde now. I noticed this before I turned to Trimix.
Anyways, I don't know the medical answer to your question, but it works on this HIFU patient, and I do have equipment that works physically without it, months later.
HIFU procedure for prostate cancer (Gleason 4+3) late 2018. Recurrence 2020, HDR Brachytherapy. Nerves spared but traumatized. Tried all PDE5i meds, hit and miss. First trimix inj Feb 2019. 30/1/25. Total ED as of late 2020

I'm not a medical professional of any kind. My medical knowledge is very limited. With that in mind I'm going to say no, I don't believe the injections interact with the "nurovascular bundle". The injection drugs are vasodilators that relax and expand blood vessels.
Both injections and VEDs are considered by many if not most to be therapy. They both expand and exercise the penis and force blood into it. This compensates, at least partially, for the nocturnal erections most no longer have when suffering from ED. With injections you're limited in the frequency of use. The VED can be used daily.

No, they are not. Injections work on a completely different principle - they apply chemicals locally, chemicals that induce "fake" erection more or less. You don't have to be aroused (even tho it helps since your body will produce some natural chemicals and reactions, even if it's not sufficient to obtain proper erection) for them to work.
My ED is neurological-damage related and injections go around that, when they work.

Re: New to Trimix, this is what has been happening
Sorry for the late reply guys, someone asked for the mixture and I kept forgetting. on the vial it says: (10MCG/30MG/1mg/ml, and it also says #5D, is this the strength? So I'm injecting 30 units of this stuff and that was my result. The burning sensation I mentioned was intense but very short lived. Didn't seem to leave any discomfort. I do have a slight ache when I'm hard and my uro said that could be because I'm getting harder than I was and just not used to it so he wanted me to continue for a while. But still at 30 units (which he prescribed 20 but told me I could go up and down 10), I feel like I'm just not as stiff as I should be. I do see him again on the 30th so I'll talk to him about some of these comments. Thanks so much for sharing guys!

So not sure if anyone is following this or not. Saw my doc yesterday. I told him that my last injection was the syringe was so full the piston was about to fall out. I think about 45 units. I gave up on the auto injector. Works well but it injects the stuff way too fast. I pushed the plunger REALLY slow. Burned but not near as bad. Got a quick reaction, but STILL only getting about 2/3 hard and doesn't seem to last long. So he sent a prescript for Bimix so we're gonna try that. I told him my penis also ached after the injections. Sorta like when you accidentally bend it when hard? He thinks the Bimix will stop that. So waiting for the pharmacy to get my prescript so I can fill it.

I'm not a medical professional of any kind. Anything I post is based on my own experiences at best and hallucination or delusions at worst. Internet forum advice is often worth what you paid for it, or worse. Always ask your doctor and follow his/her advice.
The Bimix may not work as well. It's missing the ingredient usually considered the most potent ingredient of Trimix, the alprostadil. However, alprostadil is also the ingredient most commonly associated with the ache. Often users will get over the alprostadil ache with continued use, I did.
I recommend you try some novelty cock rings to enhance your erection. Some guys find the "right" ring will give that extra boost without giving the tight, time restricting constriction the medical grade rings often give. You'll undoubtedly have to experiment some to find the "right" ring for you. You might want to consider doing a search for cock rings in the "Injections" sub-forum.
