Guys,
I have used Trimix for about 15 years. I used a mix of 18/.6/6 for the majority of this time. Over the last few years, I have had to increase the dose for the desired effect. The problem that I am having now is that no matter what dose/strength I use (have recently used 30/1/25 and 30/3/50 mixes), I end up just getting a partial erection that is barely hard enough for penetration (sometimes not). I am going to keep increasing the dose, but at what time do I consider that something else is wrong?
Also, could I of somehow caused this possible venous leak due to all the years of using Trimix? I have not ever used it on a regular basis as I have always been single. Never had an erection longer than 4 hours. The only thing that I have done that I recently learned might not of been a good idea is re-injected shortly after the initial injection. Also have used 1/2" needles at times where 5/16" is sufficient.
Any ideas or suggestions?
Possible venous leak?
Re: Possible venous leak?
Do you have any underlying diseases ?
(diabetes, hypertension, congestive heart disease ) ?
Fibrosis/scarring due to injections can lead to an decreased smooth muscle cell / collagen ratio thus aggravating venous leak.
How old are you ? You could possibly add oral pde5i and try that.

Re: Possible venous leak?
I had the same issue but after only three years. I attributed the declining effectiveness to either increasing neuropathy due to my diabetes or worsening of a venous leak. I now rely on a VED and tension band to generate and maintain an erection.

Re: Possible venous leak?
I spoke to my PCP and my Urologist about my condition.
I have a strong cardiovascular system with no plaque. Good health, normal blood pressure. I can get an erection but can't keep it up. What could be wrong?
My 2 doctors explained to me that age is the primary cause of my venous leakage.
All of our veins have little check valves embedded in them to prevent blood back flow as our hearts beat. As we get older, those little check valves begin to show the wear and tear from as much as a billion heartbeats. They fray a little bit and as they fray, they leak a little bit of blood back flow.
The veins at the base of the penis need zero back flow to maintain an erection. It doesn't take a lot of leakage to ruin a good thing.
