Testost Cypionate 200mg Injection

Need to know! I have injections every other week of 1 ML. What can I expect over time? How long will I have to take these injections? What level of "T" do I have to reach before they stop? Or, do they ever stop? Will the "boys" shrink? How long before I get "man boobs?" Or, is there any risk of such? Yes, I am taking Cialis. Just a starter pack. I have three 20's . Finally able to have relations due to previous cervical surgeries where I could not do anything physical. Do not know what to expect! Given the other men on this board....my concerns seem very lite-weight. But, I do need help...quite alone here about all of this that is happening. 69 years of age. Up until the cervical surgery, very physical....kayaking, biking, etc....racquetball....walking, camping. Now...been 2 years, just getting back into the swing of a life again. Enough said. Now....off to bed....just got in from work. Retired.....but not really!!!

First, I am not a doctor nor do I play one anywhere.
T levels have such a wide range for normal. Anywhere from 200 to 800
seems to be the excepted range.
Mine was a low of 250 when my doctor started me on Testolpel injections.
I get 18 pellets injected (75mg each) every six months.
I can tell when its time for another round. The reaction is very quick.
My energy picks up in about 2 days. Along with my labedo at the same time.
Since the pellets desolve very slowly I maintain I real steady flow of energy.
The last two or three weeks I can tell it is time again. I really don't know if that
is as much physical or more mental since I know it's time again.
I have been on this regiment for close to three years. No man boobs at all.
I must admit it has also helped with calming any aggression or quick to argue.
I would say you should ask your doctor some of your question. I am quessing he
will be doing some blood work to see if he needs to add more or take some away.
They monitor "T" levels pretty close because of the effects it can have on the prostate.

I too inject 200mg every other week. The way it was explaned to me by my MD was that once I start I will continue until some vent in my life will cause me to cease. I had RRP in March of this year was off for a while but since all the PCA was removed and three PSA test come back zero I have been alble to start the injections again. Huhts for me yes my testicles did reduce in size slightly and as long as your levels stay reasonable noting over 1000ng you should not get man boobs, my levels only reasched into the 600s and I FELT SO MUCH better as my non injections levels were 181ng and 211ng. I felt awful for months waiting to get the OK after surgery. My energy level and ability to concentrate have greatly improved and may be helping the ED after surgery really can't tell yet.

Starting the injections have significanlty improved the libido, it feels good to get horny again; now just being anle to do something about. The only risk I was informed of was long term use my effect ones liver. However, I will take my risks with the liver as before the injections I felt terrible had zero enery or stamina and no libido what so ever. I started taking T injections about year befor the PCA found and have taken three injections since given the OK to start again. I trust like myself the injections will improve your overall well being and libido.

I have two previoius posts on this topic. I developed gyno on topical testosterone, and am developing again on 200 mg injectable weekly. On 200 mg weekly, I don't feel the weekly level swings. Cutting back to 100 mg weekly, I feel it after about 5 days. When I am not taking any at all, I just don't feel normal. PSA and blood thickness remain normal.

Ive been on testosterone replacement since 24. Make sure to have your estradiol tested(Gyno, ED,loss of libido), SHBG, free/bio testosterone(amount of active testosterone) and also total testosterone.

If you experience rollercoaster effect of high then low testosterone symptoms then more frequent injections would be more effective ie twice a week , E3D or even EOD if shbg is low and you are a hypermetabolizer.

If you experience shrinkage of the testes shoot HCG 150-250iu twice a week SubQ. Restores testes size to original in majority of men.

I'll add my 2 cents

I have been injecting IM testosterone cypionate 400mg (4mL) every 2 weeks. Generally accepted levels are 10.8 to 39.7 mmol/L or 300 to 1000 using the united states measuring. My levels were 5.6 mmol/L (chemical castration is condidered 3 mmol/L or under).

I had a bout or severe orchitis 5 years ago for 11 weeks and was bed ridden and couldnt walk. After that (6 months or so) I noticed I grew only peach fuzz on my face and my chest and leg hair was depleting along with no libido and osteoporosis thats why I require 400mg/ 2weeks.

As for side effects testicular shrinkage is more prominent the higher the dose. I notice my right testicle started to shrink first about a year after starting the TRT. Then the left one started to go. They were about the size of 2 large red grapes!! i have always had comment on my big balls before. I was sent to an endocriniologist and he rxd HCG injection weekly and had me inject the testosterone weekly at 200mg. My testes started to gain size slowly and in about 2 years they are big again.

As for gynemastica "man boobs" I am just starting to notice a little bit but not significant enough to warrant an AROMATASE INHIBITOR.

My suggestion to you is not worry about it too much. At 69 I doubt a doctor will prescibe additional supplements. I'm 38 so the doctors are more concearned. Aromatase inhibitors (they stop testostrone from converting to estridiol) increase the risk of prostate cancer significantly. The TRT already increases the risk of cancer and at your age I would be more concearned about that than "man boobs" which take some time to develope well at least a lot slower than testicular atrophy.

At your dose of 200mg every 2 weeks testicular shrinkage occurs at a much slower rate than the max dose (400mg/ 2 weeks)
