QUESTIONS ABOUT AUTO INJECTORS..

Postby Dowmass » Thu Jun 25, 2020 4:22 pm

I have used TRIMIX 6-7 times and I find it hard to pump into my penis. It might be on account of my fear/nervousness.

I have heard that an AUTO INJECTOR would do the job well and swiftly.
My questions:

1) is there a particular brand of AUTO INJECTOR that you would recommend?
2) Have you seen the difference manually injecting VS using an AUTO INJECTOR?
3) Are there any downsides of using an AUTO INJECTOR?
4) Do you seen any difference in the PAIN levels between using syringes manually and an AUTO INJECTOR

Thanks!!

I started with an autoinject and it was a disaster. I have some scar tissue along the top of my penis where I was instructed to inject. When the needle hits an obstruction it will not penetrate all the way in and injects under the skin, which made a back and blue mess. I did not use the autoinject again or ever again. I use 31 gauge by 5/16 needle and do not feel any pain. I pull my fore skin back so I can see the veins and inject about an inch from the penis head. Works very consistent for me

Yes I used an auto injector all the time with Trimix and Quadmix. I will say it's not any better than just sticking a needle in, but I had the same fear. Just looking at the needle and thinking where I had to stick it stopped me from ever doing an injection that way. I could let the doc inject me with a straight needle, but not me. One drawback is the auto injector pumps the mix into you too fast and leaves a bump where it puddles, so you really have to massage it in. You also need to adjust your needle length, possibly to longer ones.
I forgot the name of the one I used, got it from the Men's ED Clinic before they got shut down. It did leave me with bruising after every use, and still have some bruising even though it's been 2+ years since I've used it last.

My problem is the scare, which makes my hand shake when I Prick the syringe in. I thought that with the auto injector, I just have to hold the flat end to my penis and release it - and that would be easier? As for rubbing the injection spot, I don't think that would be an issue.

There is another brand of injector, the name of which escapes me, that does the needle automatically but leaves it to you to depress the plunger at your desired rate. That sounds like a better system.

i purchased an auto injector early on after some bad experiences injecting myself. Hands would get shaky in anticipation and might bounce in and out a couple of times. Also times i could not depress plunger. Seems like 5/16 needle not long enough and 1/2 was too long. Set my auto injector to 3/8 and have never had a failure or any bruising. I hit a spell a couple of months ago that I was having problems manually injecting and switched back to auto injector. 100% success rate. Believe it is an auto injector el but I can't check right now. Been injecting Trimix for 4 years.

Here is a photo of the injector I use. It's the blue one which accepts 1cc syringes. The other one pictured is the one bldoink speaks of. It is a inject-ease. Look them up on the net and you can see all you need to know about them. Each is about $33 to 35.

MY REPLY:
I have precisely the problem: Folks tell me that I will get better with time, but my problem is precisely what yours is: My hand shakes when inject and push the plunger of my syringe in. I am a bit afraid of needles, "Down there". I have no issues with ,my insulin that I take in my stomach or the pens either.
I am happy to hear the term " 100 % Success rate", because I have not heard great things about the auto injector. I was told of the "Scarring" ,"Scar tissue" etc - I am sure that's their experience. I hear that as long one rubs the injection spot for a minute of more, there is no problem.

I plan to buy the INJECT EASE on Amazon for $ 34.00. It's worth the money. I haven't had sex in a long time, and while the misses is away, I might as well get myself "ready" in the meanwhile.

Thanks for your inputs
