First Trimix dosage question

Postby Beachdude » Wed Jul 15, 2020 12:44 pm

I have been using EDEX 20mcg for many years with success. In the past year I have noticed that my erections were becoming less firm and not maintained as long. In the beginning I would get rock hard erections and maintain penetrable firmness for a couple of hours, sometimes 3. Now, the injection wasn't holding the erection more than 20-30 minutes. So after foreplay that we love, I was getting unable to penetrate. My doctor suspects that I may have built some tolerance to the monomix and has put me on Trimix. Because of the suspected tolerance, he has passed the usual initial mix of 30 pap - 1 phen - 10 pge, and prescribed me 30pap - 3phen - 40pge. The prescribed dosage is .2ml, with instructions to inject .1ml the first time.

I was wondering if anyone else has made the jump from alprostadil alone to the mid-range dose of Trimix as I have, and what was your experience? Is the .1ml the first time appropriate, or should I drop to .05ml because it is much stronger than I am used to? Any suggestions and/or advise would be appreciated.

Also, I did order the injectable Phenylephrine in case of prolonged erections due to the stronger mix.

Trimix (30-3-40) injections in conjunction with daily Cialis. Use VED for conditioning.

I used Edex too, the main reason i switched to trimix was that Edex made my penis ache. You need a small amount of Trimix.
I would get hard in 10 mins, stay hard for 2 plus hours.
I have had to increase the dosage over the years.
but now I am at the point like you where it only last for 20 -30 mins.
I did try Quad Mix but that also made my penis ache.
When i first started on injections my uro told me i would most likely need an implant, and that is what i am looking into now.
Good luck with the Trimix, increase the dosage little by little, it works good.
Started with Viagra at age 40. Worked good for about 12 years.
Tried Trimix injections, worked great for about 8 years
Now Trimix no longer works.
I got implant on Oct 26th 2022.
