At a dr appointment with my oncologist (not my Uro that prescribed trimix) he suggested bimix. What a difference! I have been using it for several years with much success and I am very happy with the results. My erections last for 1.5 - 2 hrs depending on my arousal and stimulation. My dick is hard and firm but is more pliable which I find enjoyable/natural. Based on your story, why not give it a try? If it works that would be great. If not, time to move on to other options. Thanks those are the results I'm hoping for. It should arrive next week and I'll report the results.
What trimix strength were you using, and how many units? And how many units of bimix worked for you?
Anyone switched from trimix to bimix?

44, ED problems began around age 28 when I was on finasteride for hair loss, and also got circumcised so I lost a lot of sensation. Pills gave me bad headaches and other side effects. Now using trimix 30/1/20. So far so good.

Yes indeed. Got my BIMIX (30:1, papaverine:phent) vials this week and have used it twice. I'm thrilled to say it works wonderfully. No pain. The erections feel a little more "organic" and less "forced" as well. They also go away easier after sex. 4 units of bimix gives me a totally usable erection (maybe a tiny bit less hard than with trimix but hardly noticable) and lasts for 3-4 hours instead of 7-8. No more staying awake all night with a painful erection that makes me wonder if I should head to the hospital. No more frequent large doses of sudafed. I'm really happy with bimix so far.
My only concern is the rumor that papaverine causes scarring and alprostadil doesn't. I'll just have to monitor carefully for that.
Now I just feel bad that I spent hundreds of dollars on 9 tiny trimix bottles that will never be used.

Another thing I noticed- I thought I'd need to use more units of the bimix than the 3-4 units I was using of the trimix, but 3-4 units of bimix is enough.
I still get the automatic boner about 5 minutes after injection, and it lasts for 10-30 minutes, but without stimulation it will go away, but then with a little stimulation it easily and quickly becomes a full usable erection. This makes it seem much more like a natural erection.
It still tends to linger after orgasm, but not nearly as long as a trimix erection did, and no alprostadil pain either.
For example, last night I injected in the bathroom, then my lady wanted to watch an hourlong tv show. My automatic erection was there for the first half of the show, then went away. But after the show (90 minutes after injecting) a little stimulation was all it took to get a full usable erection.

MY original tri mix was 8.25-1-30 and it hurt like hell. That is because about 30% of guys are allergic to it. 30-2 bimix didn't get anything but chubby. Then I started using 5 units of the old mix and 25 units of the new bimix. This created a solid 3 hr hard on with tolerable pain. Scaring started up within 40 injections over 6 months and a 15 degree bend. Got an implant.

I'm scared of scarring too. I wonder if there's any relationship between alprostadil pain and scarring.
I'm also scared that is the papaverine which causes scarring, and thats the main ingredient in bimix. People seem to think alprostadil is the safest for not scarring, but it's also the one that hurts too much for me.
