Re: Hard to push plunger
bldoink---Thanks for the conformation. I have about 50 of those BD syringes. I put them in a box and marked it as (Use as a last resort) and put them on the back of the shelf. I have about 100 of the good 1/2 inch and about 50 of the good 5/16 so I am good for a day or two

Re: Hard to push plunger
I concur on the BD brand, the plungers are about as fluid as a rusty piston arm, I had a bag of 10 and discarded them after using 3, the plunger resistance was so stiff.

Yep----I have even bent a couple of needles trying to push the plunger down. Last night I used one of the easy-touch 1/2 inch needle. Had it loaded with 15 units. Needle went right in to the nub and very light pressure on the plunger put the juice in the right spot. 10 minutes later I had a steel towel rack that lasted two hours.
