Injection Technique Fail- Need Help
Injection Technique Fail- Need Help
Hi, guys. I'm new to Trimix. Prior to last night I had 4 injections (1 from the doc, 2 solo to find the right dose, and 1 with my girlfriend). I inject relatively close to the base at 3:00 and 9:00 and use 25 units of Trimix with the smaller size needles (not 1/2 inch). Last night I injected on the left side, which I struggled with the one other time I did it. When I stuck the needle in, it really burned, so I removed it and put it a little further up the shaft. It still burned, but I proceeded. I did feel some resistance, but it didn't noticeably punch through like it does on the right side. I did have the needle all the way in. The Trimix injected easily, but burned on the way in for a minute (which happened when the doc injected on the same side, but never since then). I had some sort of erection during foreplay and had something decent when I put lube on, but then it was suddenly gone in an instant for the rest of the night even though we still fooled around just without penetration. About 90 minutes after the injection I realized my penis was burning noticeably, and that continued for at least another hour. Next week we'll use the easy side, but I'm nervous about injecting on the left side again. Does anyone know what I did wrong? Thanks for the help!

Im borderline fanatical when it comes to proper injection technique, however everyone is different, and this is all trial and error
I can only tell you what has worked for me, some things I stumbled onto myself the others, I learned from the resident expert Bldoink and a few others
First off give yourelf about 10 injections on each side, to establish a baseline before you draw any conclusions
Try to vary up the injection location on each side and always indent with the hub of the needle when using a 5/16 length, I cant stress how important that factor is
I've used both half inch and 5/16, I do personally prefer the latter
The burning that you mention is probably because you didnt get through the membrane thoroughly, it can cause a burn sensation
Inject the meds slowly, it will decrease the burn or ache substantially
With 25 units go in 3 waves of 8 units, 5 seconds to push each 8 unit in, and pause for 5 seconds and resume, by the time meds are dispensed 30 seconds will have elapsed, withdraw needle straight out and apply pressure for 3 minutes
