In the first photo, it looks like you injecting in the front half of your penis. My dr told me to inject from the middle to the base of the dhaft

Thanks for the post. My results with trimix are similar, except my dose is 5 units, and it takes about 10 mins to get to your 5 minute status.

Thanks Ohohia ! This is the best, by far, step by step set of directions for injecting that I have seen. The photos are really helpful, especially the one showing actual injecting.
Wish I'd had this when I started. My uro was pretty good about explaining things and described when she was doing as she gave me my "trial shot" to test for dosage. That one was painless as have been 90% of all shots since. Ohohia described the sensation of hitting the "sweet spot" perfectly. The needle slips in so easily it almost feels that it's being sucked in. My trial dose was tiny (5 or 6 units) but worked so well that I had to call my wife at work to tell her to hurry home because of what I was bringing her. It did last for the 45 minutes from getting the shot to getting home for the best sex we had in years! Two nights later on my first time on my own I did the needle no problem but the doc had told me to start with 12 units to get a firmer erection. 4 hours and more great sex later, I was still rock hard and learned about Sudafed. I felt like a stud, though a bit embarassed walking into the Walgreens at midnight with that in my jeans, very visible.

I do have 2 questions, as a user of Edex (PGE-1, or Prostaglandin) for 2 1/2 years (I'd been using Viagra then Cialis for 8 years but they weren't working well and there were side effects (aches, feeling almost flu-like symptoms like muscle pain and stiff neck)
Never had ED until was on an SSRI (Celexa) for depression for a year. Needed viagra almost right away and it got worse. The depression went away but not the ED.
Question 1: I don't think I have chatted with more than 1 o 2 others who are on Edex.It is VERY affordable, so much so that at expiration date plus a few months I throw some out. At my concentration (highest level, dosage (varies but about 12 units on the syringe) and frequency of use (about 2-3 times a week, on average) what they sell as 40 doses (4 1ml bottles) I am getting at least double, or 80 doses for $170 from a compounding pharmacy my uro trusts.

I asked "why Edex for me" and she says if it is workng with no issues no need to try others. QUESTION 2: For a long time now I have ben having a harder time reaching orgasm and when I do it often takes lots of hard fast masturbation even if we have been havng intercourse. It starts out feeling great sensation but after 6 to 10 or so minutes my penis starts to feel numb and stays very hard but lacking sensation. Uro says "the meds just give you the erection. The rest is in your head. Just try to relax and not think about it." I've tried, with little success. I've found many injection users who have same issue though maybe not as severe as I do. Would a switch to tri-mix have any effect on ability to cum? bi-mix? I thought I'd solved it by cutting dose way back to 8-10 units from 16-18, but after a month am back to same issue. (And, Ohoha, so good you included your suggestion for masturbating that we inject 1/2 the usual dose! Exactly the kind of info that fellow ED sufferers want to know but likely dont ask the doctor, who might have no clue anyway.

So the question , finally, is "what can you do if quite suddenly after 6 months of "all good" you just can't reach orgasm except with great effort (like the hour of hard fast stroking I needed last night and barely got there even then..and going slow has always been my preference. Worse I hardly ever cum inside my wife which we both miss.

Thanks everyone for any help on these issues/questions.

Thanks for sharing! I follow ALL of the guidelines your uro has for you, and have had no problems after injecting for 2 1/2 years, average 3+ times a week with Edex (prostaglandin). Your photos are excellent, and should motivate many others who'd love to have as nice an erection as you display here. Was especially struck by the major increase between starting point and number 2. wow! And again similar to my experience. Using lowest necessary dose and spacing injections, being diligent about alternating sides. all of these make it work and prevent issues. why spoil the fun?
Injections for 5 years PGE-1 (Alprostadil) 40 mcg /ml. Trying Tri Mix (20-2-30 . Hope is shift in meds will restore some sensitiviy. Enjoy sharing openly withother "EDguys". Love the site, informative and entertaining too!

Joining the Nighthood of the Trimix

Postby KenJ1947 » Thu Sep 10, 2020 2:40 am

Thanks for this thread!

Next Tuesday (Sep 15), I join the ranks of the Trimix Nighthood (Brotherhood is already taken by the Implanted Ones ... # #). I will have what is called "training" in how to inject my 30-1-10 mix. A little, very little, bit of a surprise was being given several syringes of an "antidote" to an allergic reaction. I hadn't heard that on all of the posts and videos and web sites I've used to research this.

After my training, I will have about 2 hours to work it all out since I will have to go pick up my 4 year old granddaughter. Yikes! That means I will get to really have a ride on Thursday night. I'll get to have my first intercourse... no, too reserved... real f&$@ then.

I've read many of the stories about using Trimix and thank those who related their successes and their problems. I look forward to those who reply directly to prepare me for what's cummin...er...coming.

BTW, I am not worried about it working or not since I've read and seen the results of implants. Joining the ranks of the Brotherhood is something to consider.

I doubt the extra syringes are for an allergic reaction. They're probably for a potential overdose that can be an issue during your learning process resulting in a potential priapism, in which case you can use the antidote syringe or go out and guard the garden.

It's fairly common to take a while to work out the proper dose and or concentration. Don't be too disappointed if your first few injections aren't satisfactory.

I wouldn't make any promises to the little lady for Thursday. Having a few solo injection experiences isn't a bad idea. But if you're bringing the wife in on the first home trial, make sure she knows it's just a fun experiment and it may result in just playing around with no PIV. If she is the fun loving experimental type with very flexible expectations then go for it, just have a toy or tongue ready. Otherwise some solo practice sessions are in order.

Good luck and have fun. May you both enjoy the new boner.

Time to head over to the Delayed Orgasm/Anorgasmia folder. I was on Caverject/PGE 20 mcg for about 15 months with no DE problems. My DE started occasionally 2 months after switching to TriMix but I think that is just coincidental and not causal. It got progressively worse over 13 months and I cant buy a vaginal ejaculation any more. That has been going on for 15 months now. I've tried switching back to pure PGE and used a few stored Caverjects with no improvement. I can coax out a load by hand and it takes 20-35 minutes after vaginal sex (at 40-60 mins), or in 3-10 minutes NOT after vaginal sex and with no PGE (pretty normal). As a poster in DE put it, long sex seems to numb the unit a bit. The discussion threads in the DE folder cite many causes that vary with the individual but three overarching ones seem to be aging, use of PGE, and various drugs. The upside is that the wife is seeing some of the consistently longest and most satisfying sex ever. Study up, and I'm happy for what we have in an extension of a good sex life. I am experimenting with lower doses and some of the recommended treatments now. We shall see . . . .
NOT an MD. 72, M52 yrs, CenTX US. Inj since 12/2016, a yr after pills stopped working. Caverject for a yr. 1/2018 Tri-Mix at 30 pap/2 phent/60 pge @0.3ml, now 0.5ml 80mcg/ml PGE1. DE/Anorgasmia setting in since 5/2019, worse now.

Thanks so much for the visual Ohohia. I’m considering the Trimix after talking with my Urologist’s PA. This was so helpful and makes me less anxious about injections- thanks!
