Newbie with Questions about bi-mix

Already thinking about my next injection! Would like to do it tonight but Physician's Assistant told me to wait 48 hours between injections. So by that schedule, I should wait until Monday.

However last time I had a failed injection he said it would be OK to just wait 24 hours between. So that would be Sunday.

On the other hand, I know some of you have had your doctors say it is ok to do an injection the very next day now and again.

I think I have said my doc and PA are very cautious. Probably going to talk it over with my wife.

I did do an injection on Monday. .275, right side. Successful. 7 minutes of massage (this is instruction for bi-mix) to a nice semi. Then I stimulated my self. About twenty minutes into the stimulation, I was able to stop stimulating for a while and still stay hard.

Saw my PA on wednesday. Doc came in for a little while too.

I think there was some misunderstanding about my goals. My goal is to pretty much replicate what I had in bed with my wife when viagra was working: a strong full erection "set and forget" erection for 45 mins to an hour. Hard when making out with wife. Stays hard when I am not getting direct stimulation, or if wife does not hit sweet spots for minute or so when stimulating me. Does not flag when change positions.

I think they had gotten the idea that I wanted a hands free no stim diamond cutter for 2-3 hours. I've said things that could be interpreted that way.

To make a long story short, PA checked my injection technique, which look great to him. We got the angle sorted out. I think we also got the failed injection issue worked out too.

On tri-mix trial: Doc said they don't use tri-mix in their practice, only bi-mix (exceptions are RP patients, use tri-mix as part of penile physical therapy)

Reasoning is that they believe it is way too easy to end up with priapism with tri-mix. One mistake with tri-mix and it is all over.

I think because of the misunderstanding of my goal, Doc also thought I was going to be a cowboy and inject a large dose right off the bat. I said no, I am concerned about priapism too. I understand if we do this trial I am starting from scratch. While I do want to get this resolved, I am in have no feeling of crazed urgency, Slow and cautious. Since I have been his patient, I've always followed his instructions to the letter of the law. With the bi-mix, have always consulted with PA prior to making a dosage change. (That's actually been overkill, I think, as initial instructions were I could incrementally increase the dose until I reached .5)

He said, Ok, maybe we will give this trial a go. Who knows you may find that bi-mix is the best. I agreed that that could happen.

He said let me think it over for a while. Will get back to you. He asked me to email the PA with some follow up info, which I did.

Thought I would add a quick update. Has been a while, forgot my password a few months ago and was too LAZY to reset.

Doc gave me the green light on Tri-mix sometime in July. It is so much better than the bi-mix. Erections are great, and the look more like "real erections" to me, as glans is inflated with the trimix.

Still occasionally having failed injections, which bothers me. Pilot error I am sure. Actually got back on the site to try to find a thread I read a while back with excellent tips on giving injections.

I had the same problem with bad injections when I first started using Trimix. I found that Willy needs to be plumped up a bit to guarantee a successful injection. I found that if I put on one of those super stretchy silicone cock rings a few minutes before injecting causes Willy to thicken up. I inject and then take the cock ring off and I’m good to go. I’ve had no missed injections since I adopted this method.

Great tip! I am a real "grower" so I think plumping it with a cockring on would help a lot. Will give it a go and report back.
