Damage to penile tissue due to use of injectables

Has anyone experienced any damage to their penis from using Trimix or other injectables?

Yes it is a known risk and some have reported having that issue here. I have no noticeable damage. However I figure the well over a thousand needle sticks must have caused some damage from the trauma of the needle alone. I believe some meds are more likely to cause damage than others.

I have a bruise on the right side of my shaft that has not gone away in over 4 years. After all the bruising healed from my implant it was still there. Now my hair has grown and covered it up.

I'm worried that what I've been prescribed might make things worse in the long term - thinking of changing to Caverject if so.

Well stabbing any tissue creates a wound, and would healing creates scars.

Plus by urologist told me the other ingredients in trimix - the phen and papaverine - are acidic and more likely to cause damage than the PGE1. If you can use just PGE1 (which i think is caverject) then you might be less likely to get damage.

But I'm not a doctor nor an expert.

Before my first implant they tried Caverject and I really believe that it traumatized the penis to where it just did not feel right, was bruised all the time and I thought it was starting to give a curve on it. That is when I decided I wanted an implant, and it was the best move I could have ever made. First implant lasted fifteen wonderful years, since then I am on my second revision. First revision I got a bad pump lasted only ten months, but it was giving problems from the start. Now I am on my second revision and the Urologists done a great job. I don't think anybody could have done it any better. Feels really natural. But Caverject was not for me, and I would not recommend it to nobody.

Well I've been using Edex or mono-mix for 10 years. It still works great and has caused no known issues. I do recommend injections but they aren't for everyone. The thought of having 3 surgeries on my dick for an implant isn't appealing, especially when the injections work so well for me and are so inexpensive.

I personally just do gentle and long traction just about every day with a suction based rod extender.
This is to treat my peyronie's, and to enlarge my penis over time. Additionally i believe this mitigates the curvature issues of the injection trauma.

I also only use pge-1 because my Dr said that it's safer than trimix. That it is the other ingredients in trimix that cause scarring.

Having injected PGE-1 for 5 years ( approximately 400 needle stabs ) have not noticed any damage. The dosage has remained the same and as long as it works...gonna stick ( no pun intended ) with it. if it ever fails my GF will have to play with a soft dick. Implant is not in my future at my age.

I've been using Trimix for close to 4 years and haven't seen any damage. I use a traction device followed by pumping every day so that might help ward off damage too.
