Oh, boy. So at the end of my first bottle of trimix. I fill a syringe with 5 units and inject left side. Wait 20 mins…nothing. 3 units right side. Barely moves. Then I make my mistake. I go for third injection out of sheer frustration and hit it again with another 3 units. Only this time I’m very careless, miss, and go right through one of the bigger veins. While it worked, finally, I have a lovely bruise now. Dammit.

Do the bottles get weaker towards the end? Same bottle I pulled 4 units out of two weeks ago with full lift. Weird.

It's hard to say what happened. In all likelihood you just missed. With your tiny dose it wouldn't take much of a miss to cause a failed liftoff.

Your mix could be old or degraded. How old is it and how has it been stored? The alprostadil it the least stable and most potent ingredient.

Also other factors could be at play. If I use much alcohol, as in more than one drink, I have to increase my dose or I have poor results. Were there any other drugs or substances at play?

I don’t drink, so that wasn’t a factor, and no other drugs, so it was just weird. The bottle is refrigerated but is 3 months old at this point. A question about missing: how do you “miss” if you go in at the 3 or 2pm zone? Is it possible to go “too far” and skip the chamber entirely? This is only the second time in the course of a bottle where it didn’t do what it was supposed to. Interesting, it’s so far the left side that is the common element, though that does not explain why I had to go twice more on the right side. Throws you off your game to have to interrupt the action to jump up and jab your dick one more time….

Yes Trimix loses a lot of it's potency pretty quick, even when refrigerated. When I was injecting a vial would be good for maybe 6 weeks tops then it was either double my dose or don't get it up. For me a miss usually resulted in a semi-erection, and I never injected more than once a day. On a miss if I used a cock ring it was mostly possible to have sex.
I still have a bruise from injecting, and it's been 4+ years since the last time. Now implanted and loving it. No hopping out of bed after getting warmed up to go inject.

The age of your juice could be a factor. Alprostadil likes to be frozen. How long ago was your last successful injection with that batch?

Yes, you can go too deep. You can actually hit the urethra. You can also go too shallow.

Some guys have better luck on one side than the other.

Your mix is just too old. You should buy a thermostat for your fridge and freezer. I keep my vial frozen and get a refill every month.
IMO many guys that don't have a venous leak and claim that injections were hit or miss just don't freeze properly.

All great advice … this batch wasn’t frozen. I have a vile frozen right now that I will start to use. I was advised by the pharmacy to thaw it, fill a few syringes up, then freeze the vile again. Assume that’s what you all would advise as well?

I use an auto-inject, so the depth is the same regardless, though I’m sure the state my dick is in makes a difference. I’ll just chock it up to old juice. Just a few weeks before (like two) I had gone away with my wife and brought two 4-unit batches with me and they both worked quite well, though now that I think about it, a month or so ago, 4 units would last me 2-3 hours, and during that trip 4 units was enough to finish the job and then it would go down, no Sudafed needed. That should have been a sign that it was getting old. I need to tell my wife she needs to up her game.

I will say reading your stories of successful implants gives me hope, though I need to read more about it. Before i found TriMix, I thought my sex days were over, as did my wife.

I use 100mg sildenafil (generic Viagra) with 40% of the Trimix I used to need. This reduces the consequence of Trimix variation with its age, as well as Trimix side effects such as pain.
