Comfused on Injection Amounts
Comfused on Injection Amounts
New to the forum and a newbie to Trimix. I'm confused in the discussion threads about dosages. My initial dosage is 1-2 tenths of a millileter and some posts reference units (5,10,20) etc. I realize it all depends on strength of meds but I'd be interested in the commonality. If I'm reading the VERY small print on the bottle, mine is 24.1-093-8.9. Thanks in advance.

hey, welcome to the forum! yeah so the formula essentially translates to : (Papaverine HCl 24.1 mg/mL, Phentolamine Mesylate 0.93 mg/mL Prostaglandin E1 8.9 mcg/mL). so yeah, a fairly weak/starter mix, so having to use 10+ units wouldn't be unusual. start off low and slowly work your way up.
24 y/o suffering from sudden onset of severe ED (from previously having no ED at all). perfectly normal penile doppler and blood/hormone/urine test results. UPDATE: diagnosed with tight pelvic floor dysfunction

Yeah, what he said.
With the addition that there are 100 units (U-100 units) in a ml. So with you using 1 to 2 tenths of a ml, that would translate into 10 to 20 (U-100) units. Most guys use insulin syringes that are marked in U-100 insulin units. That's why most guys refer to units, as in 100ths of a ml and not 10ths of a ml. You could say you're using 10 to 20 100ths of a ml of your mix. 10 to 20 Units is easier.
You aren't likely to run into syringes marked in other than U-100 insulin units but they exist, I think mostly in veterinary medicine. I think they are something like 40 units per ml so you don't want use those.

Expect to have some misfires until you figure out the correct amount of Trimix, the correct size needle for your anatomy and best locations.
