Re: For U.S. Veterans Only
This is an update for veterans who are injecting trimix and other injections for ED. I have helped a few veterans who were paying out of pocket (aka being raped and robbed) for their juice. I know some of you veterans have had issues getting express scripts to cover your medications minus your copay.
For what it's worth:
I have been on trimix for over 3 years now and have had at least two instances where express denied the claim for trimix from a compounding pharmacy. IN BOTH CASES, IT WAS HOW THE BILLING WAS CODED. I just today got a call from my compounding pharmacy with regard to an order I placed two weeks ago. They told me the claim was denied by express scripts. When I pushed them further a supervisor got involved. The supervisor resubmitted the claim using a different coding than the first attempt and it was approved. I will be getting my 10ml of trimix next wednesday.
So, if any of you veterans are ordering your love juice from express scripts through a compounding pharmacy and it is being denied, don't under any circumstances throw in the towel. Keep pushing. Once you get someone at the pharmacy who knows what they are doing, you will get approved and get your juice.
If any of you have questions please PM me and I will do my best to help you.
