Frustrated
I get the run around from the VA. I am a type 2 Diabetic and the oral meds don't work and the pump they provide does nothing. I am retired military and have Tricare. What is the best route to get injections to see if they work. Thanks in advance.

So I don't know where you are but there should be a medical clinic for male sex problems near you. Mine charged $99 and part of the work-up included a test injection and sample ED drugs. I thought it was money well spent, even if I felt the place was a little loosey-goosey with the information about the injection mix / dose. They were a little boiler room and it's like they thought I just fell off a turnip truck. But eyes on the prize, that's a way to try an injection. You can also just drop about $200 all-in and get the stuff you need to start from a compounding pharmacy like Olympia.
ED since mid '20, with slight Peyronies. Thus begins a search for the right solution(s); 56yo a/o Sep '21. Three months into my quest (12/21), I think PT-141, Cialis/tadalafil 20mg and L-Arginine (maybe other herbs) are a winning formula. For now.

Good advice from BrokenPiston, but watch out for ED clinics that want big bucks and/or a contract up front. A regular urologist is what I used when starting Trimix. (I assume you tried TriCare.) I think the visit cost me around $150; a trial injection and self-injecting instructions from a nurse was included. The nurse-practitioner now writes a one-year prescription to a nearby compounding pharmacy; the Trimix costs $135 for a 6-8 week supply. A package of ten syringes is $7. Before I needed Trimix I used to go to the VA for cheap Viagra, but there were too many ornery people "working" there, so I decided the savings weren't worth the annoyance. I hear Trump cleaned up some of that crap, but it's so nice to visit a civilian office with pleasant people - I'll bet you'll agree.

The VA offer "edex injections" and implants. I've used the injections and now considering the implant because edex not working as well since prostatectomy.
