Pump prior to injection
I was wondering is there any advantage using a VED to pump the penis to max size before injecting trimix? Would it make the erection larger without pumping ? Again just wondering about pros/cons. Thanks
Re: Pump prior to injection
I doubt it would make the injection erection appreciably larger. However some guys report success using the VED to plump up making the injection itself easier. That doesn't work for me as I deflate too fast but it might work for you.
R.R.P 2011 Mayo Jacksonville, Dr. M. Wehle. Not nerve sparing. C in margins. Radiation 2023, V.E.D, Viagra and PGE-1 (80mcg/ml) injections @ 8 - 14 units. Originally Edex20, then compounded PGE due to cost. Inject. 12 yrs. It works. Treasure coast of FL.

I agree, I pump for the stretch and to maintain.. if I were to pump then do an injection, I would be deflating too fast and would flush the tri-mix right out with it…. Although I have been curious about pumping after injection to compare to without. Most times… I get really hard anyway but takes up to 20 minutes though.
59 years old ED started mid 40s pills failed after 10 years. Injections works but diminishing results with pain. Implanted 5-22 Baylor,Scott, and White Dallas.Dr Michael Wierschem, infrapubic Coloplast 20cm and 1cm RTE. Going strong and loving it!
Re: Pump prior to injection
I have for many years used the Vacurect pump before injecting as this has always made it easier to find the right spot to inject as I can easily see blood veins that otherwise would be hidden. I don't think using the pump before injecting would make your erection any larger.
Age 73, married 1972. Tried all pills with poor results. Started QuadMix injections in July 2010. Fantastic results so far. My QuadMix formula is : 10MG Alprostadil, 9 MG Papaverine , 0.1 MG Atropine , 1 MG Chlorpromazine

Sorry in advance for reviving an older thread....
Have you experienced what Rider1400 mentioned; i.e., flushing out the Tri-Mix? I assume not. Wondering how likely this is??
I am about ready to get my first injection and tried pumping with a ring on this evening to see if it helped me figure out where veins are. They are FREAKING EVERYWHERE and I couldn't see many of them in the unpumped flaccid state. Thinking this is definitely the best way to be able to try and 'miss' a vein while injecting.
Anyone else pump, then inject somewhat regularly that can say if doing so flushes out the medicine or is otherwise a bad idea?

Re: Pump prior to injection
I pump to a "semi" state to see my veins but I don't go any further than that. Usually
my cock is back to flaccid by the time I inject. I really don't need to pump after injecting,
the edex makes me about as hard as I want to be and about as big as I want to be. If you
are going to pump to find your veins you only need to go about half way, you shouldn't have
to pump to a hard cock to see veins. just my opinion

Re: Pump prior to injection
I pump at least 5 nights/week for penis exercise, I usually go about 20 mins/
session. I have been pumping now for about a year and the one thing I have
noticed is that using a VED pump on a regular basis does make the veins in my
cock stand out more than ever. This makes it really easy when I want to inject,
I can see most veins very easily. I know pumping is a pain in the ass, especially
when you've had a long day and you are tired, but pumping on a regular basis
does have some advantages other than good penis health.

Yeah, I didn't pump to fully erect...but I did put on a tight ring. I also noticed there are veins underneath the foreskin (obviously)...and what appeared to be larger/deeper ones that you can see by rolling the foreskin left to right. The ones just under the foreskin seem to move with it. These others were fixed in the erectile tissue.
I find I only have a few VERY small areas like maybe at most a quarter inch square on each side of my shaft where I don't have veins meaning injection is going to need to be pretty precise apparently. The lower 1/3rd seems to have a lot more veins than the upper portions.
Re: Pump prior to injection
One other question: I was going to use a 5/16" needle for injections and use the method where you just press the needle 'hub' deeper into the shaft where it leaves an indentation to try and get it to the proper depth for injection into the corpus cavernosum.
With pumping, will it mean since the penile shaft is already somewhat engorged and visibly significantly larger that I'll need a longer 1/2" needle to inject to the correct depth? I'm *guessing* it shouldn't matter as the corpus cavernosa is what's expanding from the VED and the distance from the outermost 'edge' of either cavernosa to the outside of my shaft shouldn't be that much greater.
Is this correct?
Thanks in advance....as you can tell I'm nervous AF about injections and am overthinking this most likely, but having your dick drained in the ER is something I'd like to avoid now that I've been through that hellish nightmare once before (had a doppler ultrasound test go very badly).
