I looked online before asking this here, but didn't really get any answer.
I presently have 100 unit syringes. I have a prescription (required here in NYS) for ".3 ML Insulin Syringe."
What capacity are they exactly? I'm hoping they are much less than 100 units.
A question about syringes . . .
A question about syringes . . .

Also just a quick observation on syringes and things:
1) There are no actual '.05 .10 .20 markings on syringes -- just plain numbers 5 10 20 etc. Those are referred to as UNITS (at least for insulin usage). But they do of course represent .05cc .10cc .20cc etc.
On my .30 ml (30 unit!) syringe it has the 5 10 15 20 25 30 markings ... PLUS has the
tic-marks for the 6 7 8 9etc.. PLUS it even has room to subdivide those tic marks into 5 more tics ...
That's a lot of tics!! Not that anyone would need that much accuracy for anything -- just the syringe designer got carried away one day ....
This should help you figure out about your syringes. Note that the .30ML syringe holds 30 "units" & should work well for you. The 100ML syringes are too much. You should see if you can trade them for the ones your Dr. prescribed. If not, you can certainly use them, but it will take some "figgerin'" to get the dose right.
Best of luck!
