Sorry I have not been following this more closely. First, a 3-4 hour erection is not bad. You do NOT need to get your penis 'back to normal' within 4 hours. As long as it is detumescing, you are fine. In other words...as long as it is not rock hard and painful...you should notice that you can begin to bend it a bit. Ice is what you want, not a heating pad. Walking around will help too. But if your erection is beginning to subside at 2-3 hours, you are in perfect shape. Don't worry about the slow process. Your penis will not return to it's normal flaccid size until morning....even then, a couple strokes could get it aroused.

Believe me, you will KNOW when you have a priapism. It is will be painful, and your penis will feel locked up. It often even gets a bit smaller...and harder. It hurts - usually a lot. For the rare man, it might not hurt.

So, if you are getting a 2-3 hour erection...and it is beginning to go down at four hours? You're perfectly fine.

Now, the pain you are speaking of...It sounds like it is from the drug, not a priapism. 1/3 of all men are very sensitive to prostaglandin. You may have to go to bi mix if you are hurting too much.

Thank you Paul , I wanted to ask about the 3 to 4 hour erections , I have had them several times without pain . After about 3 1/2 hours I have taken a cold shower , letting the water run over him , he goes down after about a half an hour .
I have also done nothing and let him go down gradually from three to five hours without a throbbing hard on . No pain , and everything seems to be normal , with no problems . I think guys get too excited about nothing , I have taken a couple of Sudafed at one time , but it didn't do anything . so I just let him go down by his self .

There was never any "pain," but after 2 hours or so it was a really annoying ache. And rock hard. I just wanted it to go down.

I first tried ice, per the doc's instructions, but it didn't seem to do anything. So recalling 20-odd years ago when I had lower back trouble, the advice to get blood moving was to alternate between cold and warm, so that's what I did the other night.

So, if you are getting a 2-3 hour erection...and it is beginning to go down at four hours? You're perfectly fine.

Andy sounds like problem I am having too, took 11 units and lasted about 2 1/2 hours and was pretty painful the last hour, aching. Dropped it to bout 8 units and lasted 3 1/2 hours and same pains. I dropped it to 4 units and it barely got hard enough to do the job. Geez what a way to live.Still trying different amounts. Good luck.

Heh, "what a way to live." I agree, it's pretty ridiculous. At 62, I'm not sure it's all worth it.

I was going to inject again 2 nights ago, but put it off because when I do it, it pretty much ruins my evening.

So I took 3 units tonight. Erection was certainly useable, but not the best. I quit taking Cialis a few days ago per the nurse's suggestion, just to see what exactly the Trimix was doing by itself.

After about 1¼ hours it had come down some, not a lot though, so I took 120 mg. of Sudafed -- not that I thought I needed it but just to see if it works at all with me. By 2 hours it was fading pretty good. However, through all of these dosing experiments no matter what I do it always goes down very, very slowly. Is this normal?

Mine goes down slow too. I pretty much try to inject when I don't have to work the next day as I usually have to stay up late to make sure it goes down. If you and I can ever get the amount down I think it would be good. The first time I was injected by urologist it was great, lasted 1 1/2 hours and no pain. If I just knew what exactly he injected me with, was trimix but maybe it was mixed differently I don't know.

I think a lot of factors affect the quailty and the duration of an erection after you inject. I know that sometimes Im hard in a couple of mintues. Sometimes longer. Maybe it depnds on how you get it into the corpsa. Sometimes i can ejaculate 3 times and its still hard so I take Sudafed. I noticed that when there is a small speck of blood after injecting, the erection is faster and longer lasting. No complaints. 10 units gives me a rock hard, vein poping erection for 2 hours.

A suggestion: Maybe have your partner arouse you more so that your orgasm is stronger. I noticed that strong orgasms seem to make it godown faster

Andy just curious if you got dosage size worked out? 8 units seems to be it for me and lasts bout 3 hours, that's what I got out of it last time anyway.

Rode: Heh, I just injected again earlier this eve.

I'm totally off pills, and took 3 units. It was useable and went down in 1.5 hours or so, and did not take any Sudafed.

However, if I ever get with a real, live, warm woman again I will probably take 4 units just to be safe. The next time I inject I will try 4 and see what happens. My problem is getting the bastard to go down with heavier doses but I don't expect 4 will be a problem.
