First time disappointment
Re: First time disappointment
For what it's worth, my Urologist said to use nothing less than a 29 gauge needle, either 5/16 or 1/2 inch. He's had several patients that broke off the 31 gauge needles in their penis, which is very problematic and potentially serious. Could have been cheap needles or the like, but don't know for sure.

Follow your doctors advice.
That said, I wonder how those that broke the needles off managed to do it. All I use are 5/16" 31s. I've accidently bent needles a few degrees that I'd already loaded and managed to carefully straighten and use them without issue. I didn't bend them while inserting them but by fumbling when drawing up the juice. I straightened then by pushing them back into the rubber stopper of the vial and slowly, carefully coaxing them back straight with pressure from the stopper. I've also totally folded over needles after use when traveling to make sure I didn't accidentally reuse them and never had any break off. I won't say it can't happen as there must be a reason the doctors say not to use them.
Always follow your doctors advice.

Re: First time disappointment
I have zero problem with 31 gauge 5/16. Plus it is virtually painless to inject. In fact, these are the standard needles my pharmacy includes with the trimix prescriptions.
But of course follow your Dr and not me.
