The thing about that though is correlation may not mean complete causation here.

It may be that Trimix users are more advanced in ED than monomix users, and so have less fibrotic scarring.

My Surgeon (Ryan Terlecki of Wake Forest) said that all of my fibroid scarring was from my Trimix injections. He said EVERY injection adds to the fibroids, and that most loss of length is due to that scarring.

I had been using Trimix for a little less than a year and just recently switched over to straight PGE due concerns with scarring. I have not had any scarring from Trimix but I just didn't want to take any chances going forward. I have also been consulting with Dr. Eid and he said that "Trimix is brutal" when it comes to scarring. Those were his exact words. And so he much prefers straight PGE.
51 yo in NYC. Viagra no longer reliable after 15 years of use. I have just started trying Trimix injections (July 2021). Papaverine: 18mg, Phentolamine: 0.6mg, Prostaglandin: 5.88ug

Hi DX,

Have you noted that you had to change the number of units you have to inject? Erection quality and longevity the same? Thanks.
64 years old. Had a heart attack with two stents placed at 46, atrial fibrillation surgery at 54 years. Doing great now, lost 45lbs on KETO, ED under control with tri-mix, 5mg daily Cialis, and arginine/citrulline 2x a day. And morning wood is back!

I looked and unless I missed it Olympia pharmacy does not offer straight PGE. Is there an online retailer that offers it?

I used to get PGE from Olympia pharmacy. A fairly heroic dose too, 150mcg/ml

Is alprostadil the same as straight PGE? This is what Dr. Eid prescribed for me and it came from Olympia.

The trimix definitely gives me a longer lasting erection. If I inject 25 units of the Trimix blend that is listed in my sig, I get about 1.5-2hr erection. Plus I still remain hard after I ejaculate. With alprostadil 20mcg, I get maybe an hour erection if I inject 25 units. And I seem to go a little soft after I ejaculate. I may ask Dr. Eid for a stronger alprostadil when I see him tomorrow.

The other thing I will say is that the alprostadil gives me a more noticeable ache. But I guess that is something I can get used to.

I use the thinnest needles available (31 gauge), unless I'm injecting a location where I need a long needle, then I have to use a 30 gauge. I pull my flaccid length to its full extension, figuring that I intercept less tissue. I also bend my shaft around a finger a little, giving me a convex surface, thinning the tissue at the injection site. This usually allows me to use the 31 gauge shorter needle.

I've injected Trimix over 150 times and have minimal evidence of scarring.
Age 79 in 2024. On testosterone replacement due to hypothalamus malfunction. (Attention depressed guys: low testosterone is a cause.) Healthy health nut but ED due to getting old. Like to keep enough cardiovascular ability to thrust for 30 min.
