It is better to just inject with Alprostadil/PGE1 which is shown to significantly lower the chance of scarring.
At this point i have injected hundreds of times. I had Peyronie's before injecting. Constant injections helped rehabilitate my penis and increased my girth.

In order to offset scarring, i do maintenance traction (i did heavy traction to correct my Peyronie's and gain penile length) and use my VED about 5 days a week for 30 minutes.

This is a routine i recommend to guys. Also use the 31 Gauge x 5/16" needles.

In order to rehability your penis i recommend you follow traction and VED protocol.

Trimix doesn't cause scaring for the majority of long term users though. Far less then 20 percent of users and many of those users that actually get the scaring use way to frequently.

Yes, I’m here because of trimix scarring leading to severe ED. Pills worked fine, but I switched to injections for psychological insurance, since they worked no matter what. Big mistake, because they suddenly stopped working and now I’m up shit’s creek with no paddle.

Gains in girth from injections are most likely from buildup of scar tissue.

You should be using a VED to avoid scarring in the chambers of the penis. And no the building is not scar tissue, because scar tissue doesn't expand. It is from the unlinking and relinking of collagen. It's my theory that you can girth from injections but can lose length, which is why i do traction. But that's just my own theory.

Trimix injections very rarely just stop suddenly working or even really stop working in general. Have you been to a good urologist to see what your actual underlying issue is? It sounds like that issue has gotten severley worse and is the actual cause.

No, don't think so because I lost that gained girth with my implant, back to my normal 5.5". If it were scar tissue, I wouldn't have.

Honestly given the sudden loss of effectiveness I think I damaged something specific, maybe a vein, a valve, a nerve, or developed a specific stricture than prevents corporal expansion, but uros have been unhelpful. It hasn't gotten better in a long time and I don't really think there are diagnostic tools for all the things that can go wrong.

The uros I have seen do evidence based medicine, which is fine but basically looks at what helps on average. There is no place in evidence based medicine for anything that will help outliers, which I suspect my case is.

Hope you get your problem figured out and find the right uro. Most Uros will tell you Trimix works as long as you want erections and if your staying healthy as you age. I think a lot of people just strictly rely on it but don't really address their health problems and have to up the dosage because of that. Not the efficacy of the actual medicine fading. That's why many people can use it for well over 20 years or more. Then I think they go to the Implant route because their sick of the hassle of shots as well.

Is there such a thing as injecting technique that could cause scarring?

Yes, there is...when injecting depress the syringe slowly over like 5 seconds....emitting a little Trimix at a time. Instead I was so nervous and anxious while injecting I was depressing the syringe way to fast....at least that what he told me when I demonstrated to him my "technique".

The end of a needle is a cutting edge. If you don’t keep your hand steady with the needle inside you, you may end up sweeping the end of the needle side to side, essentially slicing tissue.

So, a steady hand, needle straight in, inject, needle straight out. Hold pressure on the spot for a bit so you don’t get a hematoma (bruise inside)

I’ve been injecting for 5+ years at this point. Large doses of concentrated mix. I don’t seem to have any permanent ill effects. From time to time I might feel a lump inside at the injection spot but a day or two later it’s gone.

Some of the underlying causes of ED are progressive. So when it seems like the meds are getting weaker, it doesn’t necessarily mean that you have done anything wrong, it may mean the underlying cause had gotten worse. I suspect my venous leak has gotten worse over the years.
55yo, NYC. ED started at 40. 50 units BiMix + Atropine (Pap 30/Phen 6/Atr 0.2). Prostaglandins caused aching. Doses increasing. A cock ring helps. Phallosan Forte tension devise to maintain size. Eager to talk about implant experiences.
