Another Travel Question
Has anyone had any issues with TSA and traveling with prefilled needles? I keep my trimix frozen and make a week's worth of needles ahead of time, but worry about TSA and the security process. Otherwise I have to travel with it thawed out then refreeze when I get home....

It wouldn’t be a good idea to have needles loaded with anything. How could you prove that it’s Trimix? You can buy a small insulated container made by Thermos that you can put in the freezer to keep it froze. You need to keep all prescription meds in their containers with the prescription on it when traveling.

yeah, I have one of those, the problem is that on the other side, I can't guarantee a freezer to keep it frozen, so it will stay thawed for days and days until I can get back to a freezer. I was hoping to essentially take a subset of my meds on the trip without spoiling the entire batch. I need 2ml bottles to solve this problem. My meds are in a 10ml one now.

Re: Another Travel Question
I went through TSA with an insulin/diabetic freezer pack - enough space for two prefilled syringes in individual syringe holders - bought all the stuff on AMZ - added a small gel pack to the provided block - kept syringes frozen for ~24 hours till I put the entire pack in a freezer. The pack had space for an empty Trimix vial and I carried my scrip. No problem when everything was frozen - told them what I was carrying as I went into checkpoint. I carried the freezer pack inside a small insulated lunch type carrier (w additional copy of scrip). I tagged that w a Cipolo - so I knew where it was at all times
